McGinnis Lake is a spring-fed, electric motor-only lake that leads into Neenah Creek. Its crystal-clear waters are great for swimming, canoeing, and paddle boating. Feel free to bring an electric motor for the provided aluminum boat or bring your own electric motorboat to tie up at the brand-new private pier. Kayaks are also available for guest use. The fishing is always plentiful, with bass, crappie, bluegill, and northern pike. Plus, you're just steps from one of the best fishing spots on the lake!
While tucked away in nature, the cabin is just a short drive to the Wisconsin Dells, where you’ll find restaurants, shops, and attractions. Explore Roche-A-Cri State Park, local wineries, or MoundView Golf Course—all within 20 miles. Hikers will love the 650+ acres of trails and breathtaking views at Quincy Bluff and Wetlands State Natural Area. In winter, Cascade Mountain offers skiing and snowboarding just 35 miles away!
This completely remodeled cabin features brand-new flooring, furniture, and appliances, plus a 50” Smart TV and Wi-Fi. It includes three bedrooms, two full-size bathrooms, a spacious living room, kitchen, and dining area. The well-equipped kitchen makes meal prep easy, while the dining table is perfect for family meals or game nights. A cozy living area with a Smart TV lets you stream your favorites using your own accounts. Every room in the cabin offers stunning lake views.
Step outside to enjoy the furnished 10x20 screened porch overlooking the lake or dine in the screened gazebo with table and chairs. The large outdoor fire pit (wood provided) is perfect for roasting marshmallows under the stars, and there are outdoor games for added fun.
For families, children’s items are available upon request, including a highchair, Pack 'n Play, and toys.

Guests have full access to the entire house, yard, and private lake frontage. Enjoy the private pier for swimming, fishing, or launching a kayak. Take advantage of the many boats, canoes, and kayaks available for your use. Relax on the screened-in porch, unwind in the gazebo, or gather around the cozy fire pit. This peaceful retreat is yours to enjoy from the moment you arrive!
There is a detached garage but unfortunately guests cannot use it. You may park in the driveway or street!
We respect your privacy and want you to fully enjoy your stay. All communication will be handled through the app, but we’re always available if you need anything. While we are not on-site, the owners live just two houses away and can assist if necessary.
OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE:
Guests do need to sign a rental agreement. This will be provided after your reservation is confirmed. Failure to sign the waiver will delay your check in time and refunds will not be given.
Child-Friendly Features: We provide a Pack 'n Play and dining booster seat to make your stay more comfortable for little ones.
Quiet Hours: We kindly ask guests to observe quiet hours between 9 PM and 8 AM to respect our neighbors.
Smart TV: The TV is equipped with popular streaming apps. Guests must log in with their own accounts.
Home Essentials Provided: We’ve stocked the home with basic toiletries, cleaning supplies, and kitchen essentials for your convenience.

In line with our unwavering dedication to prioritizing the safety and security of all guests, we have implemented a thorough screening process preceding each booking. This process includes stringent ID verification and the submission of a selfie, designed to foster a secure environment for all. Please be advised that any flagged IDs may result in the cancellation of the reservation.
Furthermore, guests residing within a 50-mile radius must adhere to a minimum booking requirement of two nights, as per building policy. Or stay will be declined
To maintain the optimal condition of our heating and cooling units, please refrain from setting the thermostat lower than 67 degrees Fahrenheit when on cool or higher than 75 degrees Fahrenheit when on heat. Deviating from these settings may result in damage to the units, potentially leaving you without AC or heat until emergency maintenance can address the issue.
