So glad you enjoyed the house as much as we do. Your family was a pleasure to have as guests in every way.

This is type of guest who wants to change dates, ask for discounts, special accommodations, brings unregistered guests, brings dog and books at last minute. Despite me bending over backwards I realize some reservations I should just pass on and this was one. Guest said she wished there was terraced gardens in the backyard instead of the natural plants on the walk path down to creek. Kind of ridiculous, welcome to NC and the national forest. Comment on cleaning... I contacted guest to understand statement and was told guest had a daughter who was not on reservation but had commented that she wanted to rewash the sheet on her bed because she was a germ freak. The house was cleaned by two maids and all sheets were freshly changed before arrival. This same guest said it was amazing and are now ruined from staying anywhere else then they offered to buy the house.

The house provides two sources of internet DSL and high speed through viasat. Remote work using zoom, Microsoft teams, salesforce.com, ring central has all been tested to work. Communication with the owner can provide internet access instructions to meet your needs. The internet fees included in your reservation allow access to both. It is rural NC so we are happy to have found a great solution for our guests.

Thank you for communicating before and after your stay. I know the temp dropped down to 27 degrees outside and so keeping you warm was a priority. Sometimes Florida guests do not understand the need to flip between heat modes furnace to electric to be toasty warm and if they do not communicate then it is a problem. I am so glad you were comfortable and enjoyed the home. I wish all guests were so easy to communicate with so I can give instruction, answer questions and assure a comfortable stay. 5 Star Guest. Nightmare guest that came up to NC from Miami. This is a total bogus set of comments from him and his rudeness and inability to communicate had me stressed from before he arrived until after he left. I noted in my review I would never rent to him again. He refused to respond to call, text or emails I started trying to reach him a week before, 3 days and on day of arrival to go through check-in procedure. Very rude to come to my house and not return calls and gave me unsettled feeling from the start. I texted to please contact me upon arrival. About 3 hours after arrival, I received a text asking "IS There Central AC?" Wow, Temp was 68 outside and he was asking me about AC which was confusing? Housekeeper had it set to heat so it was warm upon arrival. I literally only had 30 seconds on the phone and he rushed me off phone but I told him about requirement to switch modes between AC and Heat and said it was fine and rushing me off the phone. I sent him followup text asking if he got settled in and temp correct etc... UNRESPONSIVE> Then he says in the review about 32 degrees outside and 52 inside. Again same issue. He did not bother to switch mode to heat., did not put fire in the fireplace or even use tower space heaters which are provided so temp can be just right. Bizarro world. On comment on Master not having a shade? A Small 2'x2' window at eye height in bathroom by toilet only can be looked out of when standing overlooking our own 5 acres and window is elevated 30' in the air. No we don't have a shade on a small window looking over a private 5 acres. Ridiculous. comment. "Stood in pool of dirty water" Really dirtl water from the spring that feeds the entire house. More absurdity. Had to wring out clothes... well again didnt bother to speak to me and I have not right on washer that says a little latch needs to be pressed on lid but I guess he was incapable of reading the note. Then he says a stack of poison products on the porch. He is referring to a canister of Ortho home defense that is left for guests convenience in case an insect or something comes up that needs to be addressed but somehow Miami man finds a way to make it a negative. Furniture is not dated and couches, beds, mattresses and leather recliner was all purchased last year. Horrible guest and the exact person hosts need to identify and blacklist. from renting.
