«Rooms were in excellent condition, spotlessly clean and most comfortable bed as good as it looks in the photo. Being an older couple celebrating our 60th Anniversary we were concerned that no elevator to help us with the stairs BUT no problem we were greatly helped by the owners, as they said they would. Breakfast was perfect in a perfect setting, with a group of younger people around us, all very friendly. If you like a touch of friendly luxury, Clyde Hall is highly recommended.»

However, the owner made my wife feel very uncomfortable by asking a very personal question just before breakfast, about her appearance that was not warranted nor welcome. «The Inn is very charming however the area is not the best. I would say that Ottawa was disappointing bc of a lot of of homeless and drugs. I had to explain to my 11 years’ old son the situation when walking back and forth to the Inn. Obviously it’s not the owner’s fault.
