The Neighborhood:
The home sits in the quiet, established Stevens Park neighborhood, known for its historic homes on the stretch of land between the Fox River and Lake Winnebago. Stevens Park, with its playground and community garden, is just a block away.
You're also close to some of Oshkosh's favorite spots. The Leach Amphitheater hosts summer concerts where the river meets the lake, and the Riverwalk is great for an easy stroll along the water. The neighborhood is also home to some of the city's classic taverns, including Jerry's Bar, a local staple since 1883.
Downtown Oshkosh is only about 3 minutes away. Grab coffee at New Moon Cafe or Elsewhere Market & Coffee House, enjoy Italian food and wood-fired pizza at Truffle Pig, or catch a show at the historic Grand Oshkosh. On Saturday mornings from late spring through October, the Oshkosh Farmers Market fills North Main Street.
Getting Around:
Uber and Lyft are available for trips around Oshkosh and the Fox Valley. It can take longer to get a ride late at night, during AirVenture or in winter weather, so we suggest booking a little early.
The city is easy to get around by car, and downtown, the EAA grounds and the lakefront are all a short drive away. Your parking details will be in your Breezeway guidebook.
Other Things to Note:
The home is in a quiet residential neighborhood, so please be considerate of the neighbors, especially on the deck and porch and after 10:00 PM.
The home has a staircase, so guests should be comfortable using stairs.
Please use the gas grill with care. Never leave it unattended, and let it cool completely after use.
Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside the home. If we find signs of smoking or vaping, a $250 fine will be charged. Parties and events are also not allowed.
