Staff support was extremely poor. This hotel probably made it so i will not go back to Costa Rica. this stay along with the other stay booked through Expedia probably made it so i won't use Expedia again as well. The photos on Expedia were not representative of the hotel. the pool had missing tiles everywhere, had not been kept up as the photos indicated. Without question the photos were at least 5 years old. The swim up bar was not manned, nor stocked, nor had any of the coolers actually turned on. It was clear the swim up bar hadn't been functioning for a while. Had to go to the front desk to ask for a beer. this one beer i ordered was dug ( and i mean dug) out of a restaurant cooler. now on to the meal.... Yikes. we ordered diner from the restaurant, while we were sitting there it was very odd because the kitchen was right in front of us and there was no movement in there and there weren't any smells of food. a little while later our waiter comes from the opposite direct with plates in his hand. Long story short he was ordering food from the restaurant next door, up charging it and serving it to us....and not just us. We busted him doing this later as we went across the street to the Karaoke bar/restaurant. I kid you not. Absolutely unacceptable!.
