We made the best of it. But, we were locked out of are room for awhile due to the battery not working, check-in was quite the process and they are currently are having a terrible suage problem at Eagle Beach where the restaurant is, and all you smelled while sitting on the beach was foul odor of poop.

The room worked out perfectly and provided space to have separate areas - travelled with a 13 yo and a 19yo. The area felt very safe and was convenient to walk to Palm Beach area which had a lot of restaurants to choose from;) We did the Jolly Pirate 4hr snorkeling excursion- great fun!

The hotel room we got reeked of mold. We wanted to change it but there were no other rooms available. They did offer me a humidifier to put in the room and i must say it helped ! The hotel is big but a little outdated.

Been coming to Aruba for years and have always loved La cabana! The property is beautiful and staff are friendly. Only frustrating thing is the new rules implemented as well as felt picked on a bit by security when it came to the beach huts. They no longer clean your room everyday but only once a week if you’re lucky, if you want it more you have to pay $30-50 extra a day. If you need clean towels you have to call and sometimes they would take a bit to bring them so you have to wait. Lastly the rule for the beach huts is you can only be away from it for 1.5 at a time which is understandable to keep things fair. What was frustrating is this is the first year I went alone with my partner and I was approached by security not once not twice but three times about leaving my hut when I was only gone for 20-30 minutes! When watching security afterwards they never approached older individuals. Became so frustrated that I started taking pictures to time stamp when I was leaving so they would leave us alone. I was definitely not impressed and felt quite disrespected. While I have loved cabana and the facilities for years this trip has definitely left me to re consider choosing them in the future. Been to Aruba 10 times 7 stays at Cabana and never once experienced this.

The hotel was not terribly overpriced. The facilities (inside the room, outside the room, and the surrounding property) were well-kept. I appreciate the short distance to the supermarket and the beach. The hotel room was clean and had everything I needed in the kitchen and bathroom.The bathroom can be better designed. The sink is too far back and low. The shower doors need reinforcing. The ironing board had mold inside of it. The sewage plant gave off a horrible stench at night. The LaCabana spa smelled of sulfur and sewage.Otherwise, LaCabana hotel was was comfortable and clean. I would not mind returning again.

Everything was great. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are nice and cozy and the pool is filled with friendly people and awesome nature such as iguana and lizards. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit !!!

My husband and I just got back from our honeymoon here and had the absolute best time! Everyone at the resort was kind and accommodating the entire trip, and even gifted us a bottle of wine for our honeymoon. Clean facilities, friendly atmosphere. Can't wait to come back!
