«Overall the place was nice and quiet and right on the beach. We did run into a few difficulties with the owner of the place as well as some of the appliances not working and the strictness of the house. The privacy from owner to renter was a bit different than other rental properties we have stayed at. The place itself was lovely and very convenient for the area. The bikes were a great addition and it made it easy to get to places without having to pull the car out. »

«Fawlty towers California. No service at all. Poor and slow WiFi. Felt like They didnt want me as a guest. Very strange experience. Lots of traffic noice from interstate 1, which is next neighbour. I would not recommend, and no way return. Rooms are not serviced, and were poor cleaned upon arrival. However location is excellent. 5 minutes from city centre and 1 minute to The beach. But i have never, never felt less welcomed anywhere, than here. »

«Cute cottage at a great location. Shady multi-level garden. The manager was very welcoming, courteous, and responsive. The reason marked the property as “good” is the lack of AC and a size of the bathroom for a 2BR property. Overall, we enjoyed the stay.»

«Two blocks from the beach. Great house with great space inside and out. The property Manager was very responsive. Great area close to the beach, restaurants, the Balboa Pier and Lido Village. We bought our dogs and there was plenty of space with an enclosed front patio and enclosed backyard. And there’s a supermarket one block away. We would definitely stay here again. »
