It started off very rocky, with the change in checkin. Then when we did get to our condo, it was extremely dirty. We used the contact number and was advised to send pictures. The pictures included, rings on side tables, fingernail clippings on bedside table, an upside down cup under the chair by balcony door, large amount of hair behind master BR bathroom door along with large clump of hair between toilet and tub and so much sand on the floor throughout entire condo and on couches and chair in living room. Was advised they would try and see if someone could come back the evening of our check in, but couldn't promise at that time. A man did come to clean and after we showed him our concerns he did a very thorough job with cleaning, vacuuming and mopping. The smoke alarm started alarming at 12:30am, we called the number used for help and was told no one could be there until morning. Found a store that was open, bought the battery and changed it ourselves. It woke our 4 ye old and 6 month old grandkids. The next day at 12:30pm there was a pounding of the door, which woke the 6 month old from her nap, and 2 or 3 young men were at the door to change the battery. For replacing, caulking and painting the owner patio door, we lost hours of beach time. Came back and the odor was so strong it hurt our eyes. We were able to fix the problem ourselves by closing a vent in master BR and airing it out. And lastly the washer had a small leak. After all this, we did enjoy the condo.
