It was not listed anywhere that the hotel was under major renovations. Not through the booking agent, not the website and nothing on google searches about it.
I was double charged for my incidentals and the staff didn't seem to care about that. They weren’t able to provide me with an itemized receipt when I asked.due to being double charged, it drained my bank account and was therefore unable to take my girlfriend to the farmers market and dinner for our romantic date weekend.
The phone in my room didn’t work, nor did the streaming aspect of the TV(These are both amenities listed when bookomh the room) and when I brought it to the staffs attention they didn’t seem bothered by it and didn’t offer any kind of help. The staff wore their disgust for the job on their face and both my girlfriend and I even heard them grumble under their breath.
The room was very nice and comfortable. This gets 2 stars because of that, the pool was nice and the breakfast was good but the customer service and general feeling hospitality was completely and utterlly lost on the four different front office staff that I interacted with.
