The motel was full of characters that came out of the room to look at us as we walked to our room. Maybe it is a rooming house type situation because of the low price? People were actively screaming, slamming doors and playing loud music all night, and the courtyard and rooms are entirely concrete, so very echoey. A couple of the guests, were pacing, screaming and making weird noises in front of our door for hours. I know the establishment is not responsible for the meth consumption of guests, but this is definitely not a family environment.
My room had only one towel for the two of us, the washcloths were already used and dirty, and the shower sprayed over the entire bathroom. The shower had a gob of hair in it.
The light switches were filthy and had hair stick to them.
The chair in the room looked like a crime scene.
There was no waste basket or cups for water.
All that being said, there was a deadbolt on the door, the TV worked, and the bed was cozy.
Unfortunately, on the way out, I noticed a big bottle of bedbug spray in the hall.
