Staff were very courteous and helpful. Hallways and my room had an unpleasant odor. Really disappointed in this hotel this stay. Very skimpy with bath necessities, no robes in the room anymore, no extra blankets. Room service was delivered in a plastic bag in plastic containers. I ordered chicken noodle soup, saltine crackers, a cup of ice and ginger ale. They forgot the ginger ale. The staff brought it promptly when I called and apologized but still. It was a pretty simple order to fill. Just not the same hotel I have stayed in for past visits to OKC. I did not realize the distinction had changed from a regular Marriott hotel to a Renaissance Marriott which is a lower level of comfort. Maybe that should be made clearer. Had I known I would have booked my stay at The Lively Hotel. It’s unfortunate because the Waterford is very conveniently located near a very popular area of OKC. Very disappointed.
