«The place was perfect for me! I definitely enjoyed myself, I thought it would be right on beach but location was perfect for a quick stroll! «The property itself was clean and as advertised, but was still smaller than anticipated. We had to store our empty suitcase in our car because there is no room. There is no privacy if you use the porch and upper deck which was annoying. The neighbors are so close you can hear each other’s conversations and you could probably touch each other if you reached out. That’s how close the units are to each other. «The listing was perfect! The cottage was very very clean. The screened in porch was awesome for family meals. The communication with the owner was always quick. The location was only a few minutes walk to the beach. Highly recommend Harbor house seafood.»

«We were happy with our stay and how professional our host was. We loved the space of the bathroom. It accommodated 4 adults toiletries so we didn’t have to tote them back and forth from bedroom. Both beds were comfortable and kitchen was clean and organized. We highly recommend this house.»

«Our family loved our stay. We had to leave a little early due to car trouble but we plan on making another visit as soon as possible. Owners were great, even helped get us it touch with a mechanic. House was beautiful, sunrises and sunsets on the deck were amazing. Had everything we needed. Thank you for sharing home with us!»

«The bungalow was great! The hose outside was used daily for the dog coming off the beach then to the screened in porch to dry off! Definitely would rent again! Thanks for sharing your piece of Okracoke heaven.»

«I’m not one to normally complain, but when you are spending this much money on a home for a week, you should know what you’re getting. If you’re alone or don’t plan on spending much time in the house it’s great, don’t have back problems, or asthma it’s great. The house is older so it’s drafty and A LOT of the moisture gets in causing mildew/ moldy air ducts and for me personally it’s difficult to breathe in that air quality, the beds made me feel about 30 years older and the bathrooms are usable ...

«Carport was flooded the entire stay. Icemaker didnt work. There were knick knacks all over gave house a crowded feeling. Closets had no doors and there was useless furniture in closets and rooms again giving crowded feeling.»

«We love Ocracoke, been on and off for many years! The Charter Room had all the amenities we needed. Golf cart rental through the place was also an easy process, and we enjoyed the usage.
