«Everything about this cottage was great. It is a short drive from here to Carmel and many other attractions. Our highlights while staying here were Pinnacles National Park, Monterey Bay Aquarium, and Yafa (restaurant in Carmel). I communicated our arrival time with the owner on the day of check-in. «This is a very cozy cottage with lots of outdoor spaces to take in the views. The host that lives next door has an extensive garden with hummingbird feeders all over. Also, there is no traffic around. It is very peaceful! The bed was very comfortable. There is no air conditioning, but you didn't need it! Although, the space heaters did a great job heating it up in the cool mornings. The only negative, if you plan to do ANY cooking the kitchen is bare bones. There are not a lot of things in the ...

The bottom sheet on the bed was the wrong size or depth and we ended up sleeping on the plastic mattress cover. I went out and bought a set of sheets! We have family in the area So we borrowed towels from them. The drain in the shower got clogged and the owner asked us to clean it out.
