This spacious second floor 2-bedroom and loft, 3-bath corner Golf Villa-style condo features both a screened porch and open air deck. Loft overlooks the living room. This spacious - approximately 1,939 square feet - and well maintained property has a well-equipped kitchen, washer, dryer and central air conditioning. 3 TVs, 2 DVDs, Blu-Ray, Gas fireplace, Wifi.

The Village at Bear Trap Dunes surrounds 27 holes of championship golf at Bear Trap Dunes Golf Club. Just three miles to the beach, this exciting golf course community features a fantastic set of amenities, including The Village Pavilion (with indoor pool, outdoor pool, kiddie pool, exercise room, Har-Tru tennis courts, hard surface tennis court, multi-sport court and saunas for homeowners and guests), outdoor pool, playground, summer beach shuttle and clubhouse with restaurant.

Note: The Bear Trap Dunes Owners Association charges an optional per person fee for guests ages 4 and older for the use of the community’s amenities, including the in-season beach shuttle, pools, tennis and fitness center. This fee varies by the time of year and is subject to change without notice. Guests that opt to purchase amenity passes MUST purchase at the Bear Trap Pavilion.

*Delaware regulations require all guests sign a lease agreement within 10 days of booking. A lease agreement will be sent within 24 hours of booking and an electronic signature is required before final check-in information is made available.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Wonderful home

This was a wonderful house....spacious, comfy beds, and a lovely enclosed deck. The community is great with lots of paths for walking and close to everything. Would highly recommend!

Disappointing

Our stay 4/6-4/9 was disappointing and I would think I would be offered some kind of compensation. Unit was dirty with nothing! No toilet paper no coffee items filters etc no laundry pods sheds dirty bathrooms dirty with mold on shower linings. I’d like some compensation as I will refrain from publicly stating this unit needs work!

Horrible. Came to property and it was filthy. No one had cleaned it. I had to call three times to have it cleaned. Left a day early when found bugs in the frig and found used containers in the drawers. Called for FIVE days and finally a property manager called me back. Horrible service.

pretty...once we cleaned it

I understand when it's the end of the season and you haven't shampooed carpets yet, but you could still be wiping down the giant railing coming in. You can tell the sheets are balled up and too many are put in the wash/dryer because there was still hair on them. Towels were a little brown and there was a crib on the front porch our entire stay. Also, light bulbs can be replaced and don't have to wait until the start of the season either. While there was someone to text with to let know of the problems, nothing was resolved. We stayed here last year, and it was immaculate. Not sure what happened. All that aside the property itself is beautifully decorated and feels welcoming.

Love this condo

Enjoyed our stay. This was our 2nd time in this exact property and have been to Bear Trap many many times. Enjoy the community and the property. Nice having the shuttle bus to and from the beach. Enjoy the facility use as well!

Nice, quiet stay in Bethany

Great location for those who want to stay a few minutes away from the beach (less than 10 min drive). The neighborhood is very quiet and the pool and recreational area is a real win, especially for kids. My only issue was overall cleanliness. The carpets aren't horrendous, you could tell they'd been vacuumed, but they should be replaced as they are worn out and look old and dirty. The kitchen floor was sticky, one of the upstairs pillows had a stain of some sort on it (gross), and there was also a half-eaten piece of candy sitting under the couch. It's not that late in the season but I recommend a deep clean top to bottom and replace the carpets. Also the blinds in one of the guest rooms don't open or retract, so that room was always dark. Overall I recommend this place I just wish it had been cleaned better.

My husband and I had a great getaway! The condo was perfect! Felt at home! Beautiful community and great food at the Den! Invigorating walks and weather. Could have been a little warmer, however it was relaxing and cozy!

Better than pics

The house is nicer in person than the pics indicate. We had a great time at the house & resort pool area, which is also nicer in person than the pics show. Be aware that you won't receive much toilet paper or paper towels, but otherwise was very happy with the amenities. There were plenty of dishes available. The house has a nice layout for a family. The upstairs is a loft & open to the downstairs, so be aware of that if you need privacy in all 3 bedrooms.

Mislead

While this property appears to be clean on the surface, there were areas that required additional attention (e.g dusting, wiping surfaces, etc.). A call to management was made with no follow through. Luckily we brought our own products and did a clean up on all surfaces(which we were ensured received a specialized level of attention to detail and cleaning), however spending the first part of our vacation cleaning was frustrating. The beds were incredibly uncomfortable and we all slept poorly the entire week. The kitchen was not fully stocked with enough plates or utensils to make it through a day resulting in constant washing and re-washing. Additionally, due to the times we are in, we prepared to cook there and eat in. This was challenging because items such as measuring spoons (which could have doubled as a coffee scoop which was also missing) and mixing bowls were not provided by the property owners. The quality of the day to day items like pots and pans, knives, etc was poor and added to the challenge. Lastly, we have stayed in the Bear Trap Dunes community in years past. We were prepared to pay a fee for amenities, however of the multiple pools, beach shuttle, and fitness center, as guests, we were only allowed to use one pool. While a discounted rate was offered, it should have been further adjusted to reflect the recent flood that occurred in the fitness center preventing use of this. When we inquired about this we were told to consider setting up a home gym for the week. This advice we not appreciated nor reasonable for a visiting family. Next summer, we will be looking elsewhere for our vacation.

So spacious!

My family and I recently rented this condo. It was very spacious for my husband, me and our 3 kids. The coffee maker was a little testy...never quite figured out the correct way to use it! Only complaint I have would be that there was a problem with the cable in the living room that was not resolved by the cable company prior to us leaving. Other than that, it was a great location to rent for the week!
