First, the location is perfect. It is in a good spot. We like the area and really have been wanting to stay at a condo in this complex.
About a month prior, I got a random phone call stating that we owed our deposit. I was really confused as this was booked through VRBO but the company called me directly for payment. Everything was last minute to get set up. Had to sign additional contracts and such (the night before we arrived). We arrived late at night, we picked up the keys with no issues.
- we went to make the couch bed and used tissues and a sock was found in the bed. You can tell it is cleaned very quickly. On the fridge they have a note basically saying they don’t deep clean and just do a quick once over of the unit.
-then we went to sleep and you felt like you were falling off the bed. So my wife and I took the mattress off the bed to find all the slats not even connected and I’m surprised the bed just didn’t give in.
- the tub was missing a o-ring so it was not usable for bath time for our Children.
Overall, I Feel these are the rental companies issues and the owner needs to be made aware of them. The unit needs to be better maintained.
