The Cruive near Oban

Set beside Glencruitten Golf Club and surrounded by peaceful woodland, this welcoming two-bedroom cottage offers a relaxing escape just one mile from the vibrant centre of Oban.

Inside, a bright and spacious open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area creates a sociable and comfortable setting. Large windows and patio doors flood the space with natural light and open directly onto a decked seating area. After a day exploring the coast and countryside, unwind on the comfortable sofas with a film or enjoy a relaxed meal prepared in the well-equipped kitchen.

The cottage features two beautifully presented bedrooms, each with king-size zip-and-link beds that can be arranged as twins if required—ideal for families or friends. A modern shower room provides a refreshing space to unwind, while a useful utility room by the side entrance adds extra convenience.

Outside, the decked seating area overlooking the courtyard is perfect for morning coffee or al fresco dining. A small private gravel garden with a drying area is also accessible from the side, making this a practical and peaceful base for your stay.

Known as the “Gateway to the Isles”, Oban is celebrated for its fresh seafood, welcoming pubs, and excellent restaurants. Discover its rich heritage at Dunollie Museum, Castle and Grounds, enjoy a tour and tasting at Oban Distillery, or take in panoramic views from McCaig`s Tower.

For relaxed days out, visit Atlantis Leisure Centre, or set off from the harbour on a boat trip to the beautiful islands of Isle of Mull, Iona and Staffa—all within easy reach.
