Cozy Cabin with Hot Tub, Fire Pit, Game Room -near Deep Creek Lake

Come and unwind in a peaceful country setting. Enjoy gorgeous sunrises from the covered front porch and watch your children play in the beautiful back yard! We believe relationships with family and friends are important. With that in mind, we attempted to create a property with spaces that lend themselves to connecting and building relationships. Whether it is in the coffee nook with a a cup of coffee. relaxing on the front porch, soaking in the hot tub or relaxing "fire side" by a campfire. This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 bath house will surely meet your needs and give you a vacation to remember. Complete with a well stocked kitchen, a separate library/reading room, large back deck, gorgeous back yard, cozy firepit area, hot tub, ping pong table, pool table, air hockey and more. Only 15 min to Oakland, 20 min to Deep Creek, and 30 min to Blackwater Falls!!

If you are looking for a spot to get away from the "hustle" of life and just relax, Fireside is for you! We have tried our best to make this property feel like home away from home. You can sit "Fireside" during the winter inside the house curled up by the cozy gas fireplace or when the weather is nice by a late night campfire in the firepit!

You will have access to the whole house, including the game room in the basement. The whole yard, including the firepit area, hammock, and hot tub, is also yours to enjoy!!

Garrett County has much to offer year-round! In the summer, things such as boating, fishing, swimming, golfing, horseback riding, hiking, etc! In the Fall, the weather is usually beautiful with cool crisp days great for hiking and enjoying the gorgeous fall colors! In the winter we have several ski resorts/snow tubing parks in the area!

We had an excellent time in this beautiful home! The location is quiet and serene, and the house and yard are well cared for. It was very clean and cozy. Loved all of the sitting areas and how nicely decorated they were. The kitchen had a wonderful amount of counter space and was well stocked with the dishes we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub one of the mornings and appreciated the instructions and towels set out. Dallas was a superb host and we would definitely book again! Highly recommend!

The cabin was well equipped with home away from home items. The cabin was very clean and welcoming. The hosts left us home made cookies and they we're very easy to reach with questions. The bedrooms were comfy cozy. We really enjoyed the fire places and the outside firepit was awesome. We really enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and the game room in the basement. We definitely would recommend this cabin and we plan to come back.

My husband and I decided to do a last minute trip away for our 10th year anniversary and this house was ABSOLUTELY perfect. It was completely spotless and had everything you could need for a few nights away. Dallas was quick to reply with any questions we had and gave us some great recommendations for places near by to try. The property was beautiful and we hope to come back with our family- there’s MORE than enough space! We had a perfect little getaway

The place was amazing. We fell totally in love with the property and the house. After 20 years of marriage and 15 years of always having at least one of our children with us a night just to ourselves to go out and have a good time and a great place to come back and hang out together was amazing. To boot, we found exactly the type of property and layout of the home we would like to eventually retire to. The place and time was so amazing literally cannot think of one thing to complain about.

Weekend Surprise Getaway

We loved this place! We used it as a weekend getaway over the holiday weekend for my husbands 30th birthday. Everything was super clean and decorated so cute! There were a couple times over the last few months I had to message the owners about our booking with a question and they got back to us so quickly! They truly thought of everything as far as the fire pit and supplies, all of the games in the basement, and a lot of kitchen supplies that made our stay simple. Would definitely recommend!

Immaculate home on a quiet country lane. Each morning you could watch the deer in the field across the road. I wish we could have spent more time there but our visit was for a family reunion just down the road. As shown in the photos there is a beautiful backyard with firepit and hot tub. Oakland and Deep Creek Lake is nearby and less than an hour away is Blackwater Falls, WV and the quirky towns of Thomas and Davis. Don't miss the music at The Purple Fiddle! There are at least three breweries and distilleries there as well. Our hosts were phenomenal and we will definitely return next year for a third time.

Awesome Cabin Adventure

The property was awesome! Beautiful home. We wanted a nice little weekend get away with a few essentials and Fireside had them all. Hot tub, grill and fire pit! The fire pit is so nice with strung up lights off in the distance. Very cozy. The whole property was great. The cabin itself is gorgeous! Great decor, loved all the plants. The basement has fun games to play - pool, air hockey and it leads right out to the hot tub where we spent a majority of our time. The couch was very comfy and cozy! I am big on that. Dallas made us fresh baked cookies and a hand written note. Fresh cut flowers too. It was above and beyond. The makeup towels is a great touch too. I appreciate this! I cant say enough good things about this property. Every room I went in, I was like omg so cute! Our host Dallas was very responsive and helpful. Answered all questions quickly. All and all wonderful! I highly recommend. If I could give more than 5 stars I would, I have nothing negative to say at all! Super cozy, cute, cabin!!!

Cozy place for a weekend getaway!

We loved this place the moment we arrived. You can tell the owners took a great deal of care to ensure we enjoyed our visit. We were first greeted with a welcome message as well as freshly baked cookies. It added such a nice personal touch. Each room was spacious and both bathrooms well stocked with all of the essentials The property was amazing and we enjoyed both the hot tub and fire pit. The hosts were very responsive if we had any questions. We are already planning another getaway to this property in the near future. This is how all properties should be run. Relaxing & Beautiful

The pictures do not do justice for how gorgeous this place is. Each room had its own unique touch , the wood accents were stunning. If you have children they had a play pin, toys and books that would peak their interest. You have your own privacy with how spaced the rooms were . Last thing this place was in such a good area very easy to get to deep creek or antique shopping !!

Book It!

Look no further, this is the cabin you want to book! My husband and I booked Fireside for a romantic weekend getaway, and absolutely loved our stay. You never realize how loud and busy your life is until you truly unplug and go somewhere quiet and peaceful. This cabin is serene, tastefully decorated and spotless! We loved sitting by the fireplace with a glass of bourbon and warming up in the hot tub during the cold nights.You could not ask for better hosts. We arrived to freshly baked cookies and a sweet note. Carmen and Dallas are incredibly accommodating and considerate. Dallas even helped us out in a pinch when we were struggling with the fireplace (user error). We will be back! Tara and Jason

Cabin Baecation

My partner and I had an amazing time staying at this cabin for the weekend. It was well put together and very organized. We had more than enough space to enjoy our time. We had limited access to the outside areas due to the snow but we still had plenty to do inside during our stay and the hot tub was still accessible . Our city lifestyle didn’t prepare us for the curtainless windows at first but the open lighting became a warm comfort in the morning.

Wonderful vacation spot!

The hosts are wonderful, they go above and beyond providing anything and everything needed to have a relaxing, great time. We loved the house, it was spotless with anything one needs at a hands reach. We enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub and hammock and grilled upstairs on the deck.
