The Space:
*The main house was built in the 1920's, the Mediterranean architecture, hardwood floors and French doors add to its charm.
*Located in the proximity of the landmark Claremont Hotel which offers added convenience of Spa, Salon, Massage, Gym, Tennis Club and Fine Dining within two blocks of walking distance.
*Private studio is spacious and tastefully decorated. The studio is ideal for two people on a queen size mattress bed.
*Microwave, coffee maker, small refrigerator and kettle/utensils for beverages.
*Free dual band WIFI is available.
*Laundry is included in the studio as a bonus.
*Wooden Burmese couch, table/chair, Lap desk, fan, electric heater, extra linen, towels and blankets are available in the closets.
*This is a pet-free and smoke-free environment.
*We strive on keeping the space spot-clean and dust-free.
Guest Access:
*Your ‘Private Entrance’ – after street parking, you will need to walk through the driveway of the main house and make a left at the parking area to enter the Rear Studio with key provided in a Key Box.
*Key Box code will provided in the 'check-in email' a few days before your scheduled arrival date. You will not need host to be present in person for entering the studio at any hour.
The Neighborhood:
*The location is in the neighborhood of the landmark Claremont Hotel in the Claremont hills; and is about a 10 minute drive to UC Berkeley.
*We respect our neighbors and neighborhood.
Getting Around:
The location is walking distance from AC transit bus services. The Rockridge BART* station is less than 1 mile away. Pleasant 5-7 minute walk to Claremont Avenue or College Avenue.
Other Things to Note:
*Please Do Not park in the driveway of the main house. Permit-Free street parking is available outside.
*Please do not leave any visible items/valuables in your parked cars as a 'rule of thumb' for parking in any city (even if this neighborhood is upscale and safe).
These units are not wheelchair accessible. Due to entry steps and layout limitations, they may not be suitable for guests with mobility needs.
