Even though we showed up after 9pm, our room was not ready, in fact, they sent us to the room apparently without knowing the room was in disarray..beds not made, sheets thrown around the room, etc. We were given another room with the unnecessarily long explanation of the many reasons this could have happened before giving us another room. There was also a promise of telling management in the hopes that it would be made up to us..of course, nothing came of this because we booked through Expedia.Both hotels booked through Expedia have a real distaste for the partnership and vocalize it as if it's the customer's problem or fault that this is not amenable to the hotel...according to them. When asked about the "fitness area", we were quickly warned that we may see some disrepair because they're doing a multi-million dollar reno that makes everything look terrible. As I went to the area, I saw the "reno": wallpaper being removed to reveal an obvious huge mold issue, filthy carpet, abandoned rooms, outdoor furniture inside,etc. Breakfast was a limited odd selection with paper plates and plasticware. Very sad, but certainly misrepresented on Expedia...shame on you for not knowing your properties better.
