Casa Olas de Oro is located in the calm residential C-section of Playa Pelada which is a 3 min walk to the beach. This beautiful green property has beautiful jungle views where monkeys, squirrels, and birds come sometimes to visit. It’s a COVID free property.

It has 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms with showers, a fully equipped kitchen and spacious living room with a TV. All the furniture has been handmade in beautiful Costarrican wood. This spacious home can comfortably sleep 5 people.

The master bedroom is very spacious and has one queen sized bed. There is also a beautiful closet and desk in case you need to work. The room has air condition and fan.

The other bedroom has a queen bed and a single bed. It has a closet, small desk and fan.

The kitchen and living room have fans and beautiful windows to enjoy the green outside and allow a lot of sunlight in. The kitchen has all the supplies, microwave, blender and coffee maker. The living room has a comfortable coach and 43" smart TV, with cable TV.

There is a secure parking lot inside the property. It has an optional outdoor shower, laundry machine and 100 Megas fiber optic WIFI internet for your convenience.

Close to this home, there is a beautiful jungle trail to walk or bike to Playa Guiones in 10 min. There are also other jungle trails that you can choose. Or just walk 2 minutes to Playa Pelada and enjoy one of the best sunsets.

This house is located a short walking distance to the best restaurants in the area: La Luna, El Chivo and Il Peperoni. Our shared pool is surrounded by a beautiful garden located privately behind the apartment building with 24hour access.

As an extra service, we are happy to help you book your transportation, activities and services you may need in order to have an amazing, fun and relaxing vacation.

The property has Fiber Optic Internet of 100 mbs perfect for working if you need and battery back up for the internet.

We truly loved our stay here. The home is beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing.We did arrive later in the evening and had some difficulty finding the property, as our cell service was in and out. However, the host was very communicative leading up to our arrival and provided helpful directions and recommendations, which we appreciated. She was also incredibly accommodating—she arranged an additional room for us on short notice so that everyone in our group had their own sleeping space, which made a big difference for our stay.The only challenge we experienced was related to the temperature upon arrival. The mini-splits in the bedrooms were not turned on in advance, so the home was quite warm (80 degrees). The living room and kitchen do not have air conditioning, so those areas remained warmer overall. We ran the mini-splits throughout the next day, and the bedrooms eventually cooled down well, but the main living space stayed on the warmer side. After a long day of travel, having the bedrooms cooled ahead of time would have made a big difference for our first night.Other than that, everything was wonderful. The home is thoughtfully laid out, comfortable, and well-equipped. We were able to cook, make ice for our water bottles, do laundry, and enjoyed refreshing cold showers after long days out. The location is also excellent—very close to the beach and local spots.Overall, a beautiful and relaxing stay with a very responsive and helpful host. We would absolutely return.

Not as advertised

The property was not the same as pictured in the listing. What you see in the listing is actually the upstairs unit were the owners live. We were given the downstairs unit which had more mixed and match, used furniture. The pool was broken and the water level was below the spouts. Very limited storage space in the kitchen and most items were spread across the counter leaving little counter space to actually cook. It also was not very clean and smelled musty. Overall, the place was average and not worth the amount they are charging.

Home in Surfing Wonderland

The best thing about this particular place is that it felt like staying with friends. Marilyn and Douglas were so kind, always ready to help with anything, from suggestions for things to do to insider tip, to providing an extra pot or pan. We walked to the beach or took a quick drive to the beach next door for amazing surfing. We ate delicious food everywhere nearby and shopped at the local markets. Fruit is fresh and delicious. Birds and monkeys are lively and fun. Costa Rica is a beautiful country. And it was better having a home base where we could rest easy, do yoga, chill by the pool and relax.

Family trip

The 2 bedroom apartment worked great for us. Good space with nice little patio and the pool steps away. We really like playa pelada as it’s a more quiet neighborhood and is an easy walk into Guiones. Maria really made our stay. She is a lovely person and a very attentive and helpful host with great knowledge of the area.

Amazing Place

We had an amazing stay at Marilyn's place in Playa Pelada. The location is perfect, away from the business of Playa Guiones yet only minutes away through a trail or beach walk. Playa Pelada beach is a short walk away and was the beach we preferred -beautiful sand beach and nice and quiet. There are amazing restaurants all walking distance away with La Luna beach resturant just down the road. There is also a small market for basic groceries 2 minutes away. The property is gorgeous with balconies and a great pool to refresh at the end of the day or for when you just want to relax. We stayed a month and was sad to leave. Marilyn is a gracious host always available to make your stay enjoyable. She is very accommodating and made us feel welcome. The 3rd floor unit is absolutely incredible. Authentic Costa Rican yet everything you need. Balconies on each side one offering amazing sunrise views while you can enjoy the sunset from the other. It is by far the best place to stay at in Nosara. We will be back next year for sure.

A perfect Nosara location - we will be back.

We came from cold Boston, a family of 5 (ages 14, 18, 19, 49 & 59) and have never been to this side of Costa Rica. We were excited to hike, ATV, surf, beach, eat well, roam, shop & fish .. we did all of this. Mari (our host) was perfect. Responsive & attentive. Her place is clean, easy to access and a perfect place to come home after a long day of adventure to enjoy. We loved walking and eating at La Luna - the sunset & beach are 4 mins walk away from the house. We also loved connecting with Jason @ Get Hooked Nosara, he made our stay perfect and fun. We felt safe, loved the local vibe and will be back again.

Perfect place to stay in beautiful Nosara!

We had a great experience from start to finish! The host is absolutely wonderful and makes sure that your stay is as enjoyable as possible. She is very welcoming and responsive if we needed help with anything or advice on things to do and see. The location is fantastic. It is about an 11 minute walk down to Paleda Beach as well as multiple restaurants. You can take the pathway at Paleda Beach which leads you to Guiones beach. From.there you can get to Guiones town which has many more restaurants, a gym, nightlife and much more. You are also about a 5 minute drive to the grocery store. If you do not have a car with you, it is very easy to arrange a tuk tuk to take you to the places that you may not want to walk to or if you are doing a grocery haul. The apartment is very new and up to date. The kitchen is a great size and can easily fit multiple people cooking at once. The bedrooms are spacious as are the bathrooms. Everything is very clean and well taken care of. It's a very beautiful home! You can see some fun wildlife from the balcony almost every day. Lots of howler monkeys climbing climbing swinging through the trees in the early morning and around sunset. I'd gladly reccomend this property to anyone thinking about staying in beautiful Nosara. Mari was fantastic and made our stay very memorable.
