Welcome to Kaibo Sunset /YIPPEE KAI YAY .. PHASE 2 , Unit B17 !!!!

Situated within the prestigious development of Cayman Kai, Kaibo Sunset Condominium B17 is the premiere vacation getaway in Grand Cayman with fun and activities at your fingertips!

For the water enthusiast, it is paradise, with soft white sandy beaches fringed with coconut and royal palms intermixed with carefully chosen tropical plants that will excite the senses and add to the Caribbean experience.

Accommodation:

Kaibo Sunset is a 2nd-floor, beachfront condominium at the Kaibo Yacht Club, that can comfortably accommodate six (6)guests in a contemporary Caribbean style with all the comforts of home. The main living room also incorporates the kitchen and dining areas with direct access through large sliding doors onto the spacious screened patio, it is well appointed with stylish furniture reflecting a botanical boho beach vibe and includes in-home entertainment facilities such as cable TV and high-speed wireless broadband,(wifi) access and stereo sound system.

The master bedroom takes advantage of the breathtaking vistas afforded to us on the first floor (UK), and 2nd floor (US) and the large windows allow for 180-degree views of crystal blue ocean and infinity edge pool .Incorporating direct access to the large patio, an en suite bathroom, a walk-in closet, classical white furniture and an exceptionally comfortable King-size bed.

The guest bedroom is furnished with 1 double bed, 1 twin bed, dresser and a large mirrored closet and is directly adjacent to the second bathroom.  The living room sofa has a pull-out sleeper. The condo comfortably sleeps up to 6 persons.

Property Inclusions:

Kaibo Sunset is equipped with two (4)one-person kayaks and two (4)life jackets. Perfect for navigating the calm waters, steps from your door!

There are also three (4)adult island bikes available for your use! Also available are beach toys , pool floaties and snorkel gear . Other on-site facilities include a stunningly beautiful infinity pool and spa situated within private landscaped gardens that lead to the calm, reef-protected, warm waters of the North Sound enabling you to find the relaxation you so richly deserve.

Conveniently Located:

The only real choices that need making are where to eat and drink. A well-equipped kitchen awaits but if a night off is what's in order or if vacations are a kitchen-free zone then many first-class restaurants await you.

The Kaibo Yacht Club beach bar serves excellent food throughout the day and is supplemented in the evenings with a more formal menu for those who wish to eat under the star's casual Caribbean style. On Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays a more intimate fine dining experience is available at the 'Upstairs' restaurant, overlooking the Kaibo beach and calm waters of the North Sound.

Like to fish and eat your catch? We also provide a new Webber BBQ grill to serve up your catch of the day and have Beach BBQ fun

A short distance from Kaibo is the world-famous Rum Point Beach, hosting a bar and grill, a fine dining restaurant and weekly beach bar-b-que.  The Rum Point Water Ferry also runs daily from The Kaibo Yacht Club to Camana Bay at 7 Mile Beach.

Island Activities:

A full range of water activities is available locally for those seeking a little more from their vacation. We provide Kayaks for adults and children during your stay. The Cayman Islands are world famous for their first-class scuba diving facilities and dive sites and can offer unparalleled reef, wreck and wall diving all within a short boat ride. Few experiences in life match that of swimming with a turtle whilst exploring a subterranean wall that can reach depths of 6000 feet, in water of unbelievable clarity and warmth.

The world-famous 'Stingray City', the world's best 12-foot dive, is located within North Sound as is the 'Sandbar' where you can come face to face and feed the ever-so-friendly Southern Stingrays.

Snorkelling, kayaking (provided), jet ski and motor boat hire, yacht charters, water skiing and much more are also available for the more active among us, but most of all there is the knowledge that if you want to just relax, you can do so in your own corner of paradise.

As owner and property manager Caz and Sean who have been living in Cayman for almost 30 years (there’s not much about Cayman they don’t know and are always happy and willing to go that extra mile for guests )so don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or requests .

Wonderful condo

Great location if you want to relax away from all the crowd from 7-mile Beach. The condo is comfortable and has everything we needed and more. We loved the Infiniti pool and the fact that Caz provided kayaks and bikes for us to use. We biked to Starfish Point a lot and took the kayaks to the bioluminescent bay, which was very neat. We stocked on groceries on our way from the airport, and caught some tuna while deep sea fishing, so having a grill on hand was a plus for us. 7-mile Beach is beautiful and we drove to the Cemetery Beach a few times , which is great for snorkeling. Our flight was canceled on our way back, and the airline put us at a hotel for 3 days on 7-mile beach. After experiencing both, we are so glad we choose to stay at Run Point. It was way more relaxing and ideal for our family.

We LOVED our week here. Having access to the bikes, kayaks and snorkeling gear was a plus. We bought groceries and had all the kitchen gadgets we needed. It was nice to have Kaibos right next door for dinner and dancing one night. We will be back to this incredible condo. Thank you Chaz!

Nice Condo and amenities

Overall we enjoyed our stay. When we arrived the smoke alarm was chirping every minute. Had to call property manager and they took care of it. But the internet was out, and we told them about it on arrival, but it was never fixed. Also had an issue with the air conditioner dripping in the utility closet last day we were there and we let the PM know. Nicely furnished condo. We enjoyed the area near the water. We kayaked down to Starfish point. The pool was nice too. Overall our stay was great and we really loved the Grand Cayman Island.

Cayman Kaibo

Myself, husband and friend arrived to a lovely condo very close to Rum Point. Condo was very nice. We would definitely stay again! We loved using White Sand for our tours and being picked up right next door at the marina. We thought property management could stock more than a couple rolls of toilet paper per bathroom and more than1 roll of paper toweling. There is an order of sewer out of the front of the condo but it is an island and not much that can probably be done about that. We loved using the kayaks. We were disappointed in the bikes though. Kids bikes had flat tires and adult bikes were somewhat deflated. They were so rusted you couldn't adjust the seat and hard to shift resulting in difficulty in going anywhere. These were only very minor things and if it was really a concern we could've called management. The grounds are absolutely lovely. Nice pool and plenty of chairs and hammocks! Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation!!

Quiet beach condo

Quiet beach front condo on bay. Nice clean beach with some wading until grassy areas good for snorkeling. Restaurant on site was very good. Easy access to Rum point and Starfish beach. Twenty to thirty mins to plenty of restaurants. Condo has everything we needed except shampoos, soap, bug spray. Very clean and nice setup with lanai with table and chairs. Would go again.

Wonderful location

Wonderful condo in a great location! All the amenities a family needs. Plenty of towels for the beach. A million dollar view. Kaibo next door was a perfect addition for a fun bar atmosphere and food. Disappointed that Rum Point was completely shut down since it was stated they’d be reopening late 2022. (But not the fault of the owners of this property. Just an fyi for renters looking to make a decision where to stay.) Well stocked kitchen with dishes. Kayaks were fun. There were only 2 goggles so adults would need to rent snorkel gear somewhere nearby. Highly recommend White Sands for a boat to Sting Ray city & snorkeling. You can get picked up at the boat dock next door. Just feet away! Hammocks were lovely. Pool is right on the beach with great lounge chairs. Property is very nice and left very natural. My only suggestion would be extra bedding for the pullout couch. There were not extra pillows for this. We have 2 adult sons that are 6’ tall so the twin beds were a bit short for them. This should be a consideration when staying with 4 adults here. Otherwise we have not a single complaint! Already thinking to rebook this condo next year! We absolutely loved it!!

Best condo

We’ve stayed at many condos around the world and so far this was the best. In addition to being clean, which most condos were, this condo had many nice features suggesting that the owner was very thoughtful. Those included hand soap, dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, coffee filters, etc. so we didn’t have to bring/purchase our own. The manager was very responsive via emails. He even brought us a big kayak when requested. There are several nice restaurants and grocery stores that are within 25 minutes by car, and the Starfish Point was right next to us! The pool was nice and shallow enough for young children (4 feet) and the enclosed balcony was a nice spot for breakfast. We really enjoyed staying there!

Grand Cayman Stay

Overall, we were very pleased with our stay. We loved the location, the pool and the beachfront being right there. The kitchen was well appointed with everything needed for cooking, including a convection microwave & coffee maker. There were only a few minor items that could be improved upon. The master bedroom is warmer than the rest of the unit, so we needed to have the ac lower to accommodate for it. We had some issues with the cable box that made tv viewing difficult (the on site property manager, Joshua was great overall-very responsive for all questions & arranged for the cable company for a visit etc.). There are items in the storage unit that are available for use (kayaks, bikes etc.) but everything is a tight jumble and not terribly organized. As mentioned, these issues were somewhat minor in the overall picture and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Kaibo Family Fun

First of all what a beautiful island! We had only visited as a cruise stop prior to this trip. During our stay, the boys spent the first 3 days diving. Our 10 yr old got to go on his first ocean dive and then several more! The condo was perfect. The girls spent time soaking up the sun on the beach or at the pool or reading in the hammocks. We also had fun walking over to Starfish Point and using the kayaks. Bioluminescent Bay was indescribable, it should be on the list for everyone visiting Cayman. It is a little drive to the condo from Georgetown/7 mile area, but we enjoyed the drive and the slower pace of Kaibo area. We look forward to coming back to Grand Cayman and would gladly come back to this condo. Thanks for your hospitality and helping make our vacation perfect!

Relaxing!

We had a wonderful time in Grand Cayman and enjoyed staying at this quiet condo. The private beach was perfect for relaxing, reading and swimming, and never crowded. We liked the restaurant and coffee shop next door, and enjoyed watching the boats come and go. The condo was comfortable, and the manager very responsive. Great place to stay!!

Relaxation at Kaibo Yacht Destination

The property was clean and updated. It was close to the Kaibo Beach Club restaurant and bar which made it really nice to grab some munchies if you didn't have time to go shopping. We were able to get to Starfish point easily. It was great having access to the infinity edge pool. We tried to reach out multiple times to the property managers for issues but never heard from anyone. The spare bedroom has a serious issue with the doorknob. DO NOT CLOSE THE DOOR because it will lock on it's own and you have to have someone else open the door from the outside. We had to place a shoe in the doorway so it wouldn't close by mistake. We booked this place thinking we could use the bikes to get to Rum Point and Starfish point. The bikes all had flat tires and the lock to the garage was broken, it never locked. Somehow there were belongings from another unit in there too. It was a very comfortable unit except for the issue with the second bedroom locking the people in and not being able to use the bikes. It's a great area if you want to relax and not be around all the hustle and bustle..

Clean, bright, beautiful corner of the island

We had a wonderful stay at Kaibo and loved the property. We stocked up at Hurley's market and cooked nearly every day. We enjoyed the kayaks, pool, and adventures in and around Rum Point. We took a day and went to Seven Mile Beach (wow!) but wouldn't trade the tranquility of the North side for the chaos of that area. The condo was clean, bright, and well equipped. Beds were comfortable and we loved that there were tons of towels, extra bedding, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with basics which we appreciated very much. I would agree with the other renters that there could be more pots+pans for cooking but other than that, there was everything you could imagine to be comfortable in the unit. Would highly recommend this rental and the area!

Beautiful!

Apartment is superbly situated and stocked with everything you could need. Beds were super comfy. View is amazing. During our stay neither the pool or beach was crowded. Hammocks were available for every lazy afternoon. Beach is raked every morning and the bay is sheltered so not a single wave. Fantastic if you have young children. We kayaked to starfish point around the bay. This is a postcard picture. Beautiful. The club next door does great food and cocktails and their bbq was tasty. Will certainly be back!

Pristine, away from it all, and relaxing!

We stayed at the Kaibo Condos for a week. They are located next to the popular Kaibo Restaurant on Rum point but close to Starfish point too! We visited a lot of the attractions - took Captain Marvin's boat and snorkel tour Sting Ray City, visited the Turtle Farm, 7 mile Beach, The Botanical Gardens, snorkeled at Cemetery beach, and my husband loved visiting the Cayman Motor museum . We truly enjoyed coming back to our relaxing and peaceful spot! We took the kayaks which were included with our condo out one evening and paddled to Starfish point to see the sunset, which was just beautiful! The condo is very comfortable, just beautiful views, comfy beds, all dishes, pots and utensils , even beach towels are supplied. Everything was just perfect! We could eat out or stop at Hurley's, our favorite market, for delicious pre- made food! Everyone was very friendly at the Kaibo Condos. I felt very safe and took many walks! We recommend this place and will definitely go back!

Nice spot away from it all

Very nice, comfortable, well-equipped condo on the quieter side of the island. It’s all about location. We walked down the road to Starfish Point every night to watch the sunset, and enjoyed the Rum Point beach bar & snorkeling sites on several occasions. Nice for couples or families who want to cook for themselves and have a quiet vacation (like us), but very limited restaurant or “night-life” options — except Tuesday nights when the Kaibo bar has a beach bbq with live music. Many folks enjoying the pool and hot tub, calm sandy beach lagoon for the kiddos. Our only “complaint” was that the kayaks are k-mart quality, pretty unstable (and we are experienced kayakers), so maybe best to rent nicer ones from the beach vendor. Overall, as long as you don’t expect the 7-mile beach experience, it’s a great spot!

An awesome area.

We loved our two week stay at Kaibo. The condo had everything we needed. The pool, hot tub and beach were perfect for the grandkids. Eating at the Yacht Club , on the beach under the stars was so relaxing. Everyone was warm and friendly. I would highly recommend this condo. We had a family trip to be remembered always. Great condo, wonderful property!

My family and I loved staying here for our vacation. The location is perfect. The beaches and restaurants at Kaibo and Rum Point are lovely, quiet and very safe for swimming/relaxing. The two bedroom/two full bath condo itself was clean, comfortable and in great shape. Our family of four fit without it feeling too cramped. It is located right on the beach with plenty of beach chairs and hammocks and a fantastic outdoor pool/hot tub/lounging area on the property as well. We had one small problem when we arrived and the property manager had it fixed the next day! Suggestions for the owner: more pots/pans in the kitchen and the sectional couch is super uncomfortable. Those are very minor issues and we would definitely come back again!
