«Check in was so quick and the people were so kind! We were able to learn about local activities and dining! The room was spacious and had everything we ended. Far enough from town for beautiful scenery but close enough that everything was a 10min drive or less. Incredible stay!»

«Stayed at Vineyard Cottages for five nights with our 2 year old son. Had a fantastic stay, very much thanks to the warm hospitality and beautiful surroundings. The cabins have a nice outdoor terrace on the front and in the back, beds are comfortable and the small details like really nice bathroom amenities made the stay perfect. The The Hunting Lodge vineyard wine cellar and restaurant is just next door and offers great food and tastings. »

«Such a great place to stay for visiting Hot water Beach as well as cathedral rock. They have towels and spades for your use, and maps. We walked to Cathedral Rock and it was a great walk. The Church bistro next to the property is outstanding. Reservations recommended. Also right across the street is kayak rental and a pub very close by. Room is really well appointed and the amenities are great. Our room was quite private and peaceful(1 bedroom cottage).»

«A hidden gem. We are hoping to make this our annual couple's retreat. Great location, gorgeous room and we would happily have sat out the back watching the waterfall over a drink forever. The only drawback, and it feels like a big one, is that we have to go back to our normal life now.»

«This has been the best BookaBach stay we've had in many years. A beautiful cottage in the middle of the country. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen fully stocked-amazing. The art work, done by the hosts told very real stories which resonated with me. If you're wanting a quiet stay, 25 minutes south of Whangarei, make this your No 1 choice.»
