I walked into the whirlpool sweet and it was already 30 degrees in there. No one turned on the heat prior to my arrival despite it being -14°F outside. I couldn't get the cable to work, and realized everything was not connected and i had to Google how to set it all up i figured it out, cool. So i turned on the whirlpool and stuff started shooting out the jets, black crud all over. I was like, whatever I'll go to the store down the road and get some stuff to clean it. I hadn't even looked at the bathroom yet, I walk in and as I grab the handle to the bathroom it falls off into my hand. And the shelf was chewed up below the sink. A pet I'm assuming was locked in there at some point. I decide to set up my computer on the bed and plug it in to the outlets on the bedside tables, those did not work, so I moved the tables and plugged into the wall outlets. Fine. I get comfy and turn on the "cable" I set up, and literally every channel was blocked. I found Hoarders which I can tolerate, so that was okay. It took about 6 hours for the room to get up to nonfreezing temp. I buried myself in blankets. The fridge was warm. Everything was covered in layers of dust. It just felt like I'd been the first one to use it in YEARS. The curtains and blinds were tore up and ripped. I kept getting a cold draft and tried to find out where it was coming from and there was a gap between the wall heater and outside which was pouring in -18°F gusts so I used all the towels in the room to wrap the unit.
