Great property quiet neighborhood close to a lot of things close to the beach really enjoyed my stay very relaxing no problems. Property manager was great very helpful. Thank you for allowing me to be a guest.

We wound up not staying at this site. For a family looking for a visit to the beach for a week, this wound up being a less than ideal spot. The neighborhood, doesn't appear that safe, the 5-minute walk to the beach is across a 2-lane road with a lot of traffic. The apartment is 1 of 4 and there really is no space outside for you to relax as is mentioned in the posting. Add into that that the hallway smelled like urine and we opted to leave rather than stay at this place.

Great place!

This was a great stay for the long weekend. The space was VERY clean, accurate to the photos. We appreciate the host and his communication! I will add that the parking is/can be limited and tight. But we made it work well and drove a truck! We would definitely stay again. 2 minutes from the beach!

Pretty good

Overall the place was pretty nice! It was clean and had most of the stuff we needed to make dinner and most meals. The neighborhood isn't the greatest, while we were checking in I had two people in a 20 minute span of time asking for cash, and whether you drive or walk to the beach there are homeless/ shady people. However our overall stay was still pretty good.

The good and not so good!

What was good-spotlessly clean, close to the beach, good parking, comfortable beds, equipped kitchen, nicely remodeled What was NOT good-kitchen outlets were not working. Initially, host said he would send someone to fix the issue but no one came and host stopped communicating with me 2 days in. Host preferred communication is what’s app and not VRBO platform? I tried the breaker outside and tried resetting the outlet ground to no avail. Apparently this has been an issue before, as another guest left a review stating so-not sure why it was not fixed then? Toast had to be made in the bedroom in an outlet 5 feet off the ground. Coffee in the bathroom sink. There is a huge tv in the bedroom and no outlet to plug it in to. There were 4 adults in the apartment each with iPads, iPhones and iwatches. There were not enough outlets to charge all of them. The 2 outlets in the spare bedroom were 5’+ high on the wall. Devices had to “hang” to charge. One of the chargers in the bedroom lamp worked one didn’t. One towel per guest no wash cloths. We stayed 5 nights. This location is very close to the navy shipyard and farther from the navy base. FYI

Had some issues

When we first came in there was a wasp's nest on top of the front porch you walk in on. My fiancé is handicapped, and it did not say it was an upstairs apartment. The second night there, the breaker blew. I did get ahold of the host's wife, but her husband was overseas in Morocco. They were not going to fix it until Monday (we were leaving Sunday, and this was on Thursday). Thankfully we had an extension cord and was able to keep the fridge on, but we had to make coffee in the bedroom, since none of the kitchen outlets would work. The grass was high and needed cut. Overall, it was a good trip, but I wish they were clearer on some things, like it does not have an Ocean View, it's just located in Ocean View.

In town for family wedding

Accommodations were great for what we needed. Close to downtown Norfolk and the beach. Conveniently located to stores and restaurants. If the need to travel back to the area I would definitely stay here again.

Good but a few kinks to work out

The property was newly renovated and was very convenient for our stay. When there was an issue the owner was quick to respond. However there were a few maintenance issues that the owner needs to address which I am sure he will.

MEH….Is all I have to say.

Apartment is nice, however the neighborhood is shady. The walls are paper thin and you can hear every word spoken next door. No TV’s in the bedrooms. The beach is nearby but the flock of homeless people hanging at the public restroom is disturbing. Overall the property isn’t bad but be prepared to listen to barking dogs and police sirens. I will never return to Virginia beach and will stick to NC beaches where we don’t have to worry about getting mugged or shot.

Charming 2 bedroom apartment with a great manager

We rented this charming apartment as a last minute trip to see our son. It was recently remodeled and is very nicely decorated. The manager was very easy to work with. We needed to contact him when we arrived as a circuit was tripped and he immediately called and helped us resolve the issue. He was in contact with us throughout the process which was very nice. The location was central to all we wanted. Close to restaurants, groceries, and the beach. The apartment is perfect for up to 4 people. Kitchen has all your needs including a Keurig. I would definitely recommend the apartment and would stay here again! Thanks again!

New and Quiet

My family and I stayed here to visit our oldest son in the Navy stationed nearby. The location is very convenient to grocery stores, shops and restaurants. The beach is also very close, although we did not go to the beach during our stay. Everything in the unit is new, has been renovated and is well done. Communication with the owner was excellent, quick response and was eager to make our stay the best. There is one small set of stairs to get to the unit, just to note if someone has severe mobility issues. Great visit for our family, would not hesitate to book this unit again! Thank you for your hospitality!
