«Booked here for a last minute solo trip to Voyageurs National Park and this motel immediately caught my eye! The motel is in a neighborhood and I felt completely safe, even at night (but always being aware of my surroundings as a female traveler). The communication with the staff was great, texting was easy. I loved what they’ve done to the motel and has modern amenities. Definitely will book this next time I go up north!»

«Facility was neat and clean and employees were friendly. The only complaints I had was that the restaurant was not open for breakfast while we were there and there was no microwaves in the room. View was amazing, outdoor games etc were really nice and area was calm and relaxing.»

«Crossroads has been a good Grandmas Marathon base station the past two years, pet friendly, reasonably priced with comfortable accommodations. Friendly staff, decent breakfast, local restaurants are also accommodating of pets in patios.»

«Property has no elevator. I am 80 y/o not 18. Your advertising should reflect that and/or give choice of ground floor accommodations. Shower had no grab bars. I realize a shower surround presents some problems in installation but not unsolvable. We put men on the moon some 58 years ago. Grab or assist bars on a shower surround should be attainable.»

«The experience was very good. The hotel is clean, nicely decorated, good size room and nice amenities. There was a nice round table in our room but only one chair that worked with the table, two chairs with the table would work better for two quests.»

«Pluses - Nice big comfortable rooms. Minuses - Noise from the hallway or next room. Also, they didn't clean the room or bathroom even though I left a placard out requesting service. We had to ask for clean towels from the front desk everyday.»

«We rented a room with 2 double beds. They were the smallest double beds I’ve ever come across. In the future, I’ll for sure go for a King sized bed! Location near a walking / biking trail is great! Also enjoyed the outdoor seating area overlooking the road.»

«We enjoyed our stay at the Cascade Lodge! We loved the close proximity to Lake Superior and their private shoreline! We also ate at the restaurant and it was great-food and staff friendliness! There was even live music on the night we were there.»

«This is a pleasant modern motel on the outskirts of town. It has nothing special about it -- the room is basic, and functional. There's no in-room coffee or water heater. Also no closet or drawers for clothing -- just some external hangers. It does have a gym and a pool -- I used the gym and it was small but the treadmill worked fine. Breakfast is standard motel fare. Service was lacking -- in a three-day stay our room was never made up, but we did get one change of towels. My ...

«I’ve stayed in a a lot of hotels but this is the very first time I’ve been given not one but two partially cleaned rooms. 11pm check-in. First room had one stripped bed and one made bed, and ironing board and iron sitting out, and dirty towels on bathroom floor and dirty bathroom. Went down to desk and then gave keys to a 2nd room. 2nd room had two made up beds but pillows without cases, garbage on nightstand, bathroom hadn’t been cleaned.
