«We come to this area multiple times a year for rock hunting,hiking, etc. We have been by this house hundreds of times and when we found out we could actually stay here we jumped on it. This was a weekend for the peak of the Eta Aquariids meteor shower and our normal outings. Had awsome sunset and 1 night of clear skys. Walked across the street and did some rock hunting. Grandson tested the water and he also had a blast even shivering! No reservations about recommending or renting this place ...

«Nice and peaceful pet friendly home away from home. Best get-away from a fast -paced world. Complete with linens, toiletries, and kitchen supplies. There was also a convenient grill for dinner. Bathroom was updated and shower was refreshing! Paul, is an awesome host. I would recommend! Looking to come back again.»

«The paddle boards and canoes on the lake made the trip really fun for teenagers. Right on a nice lake so it’s shallow enough to explore and also swim out deeper and much warmer than Lake Michigan which is close enough to drive back and forth from easily.»

«Architectural wonder was Half House. Low ceilings, narrow hallway & a secret bedroom that relieved us thinking we’d be sharing the bed. The pathway to the house is challenging for those with mobility issues . The view of Lake Michigan sunsets were spectacular! A GREAT location in Charlivoix»

«The property was quiet and in a great location, our neighbors in the camper were very friendly also seen them on the dunes and meet their kids great time. Hot tub was amazing will definitely consider this property again. Few things they can add is a mop, dust pan, and a small vacuum. Other than that it was great.»

«My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this site. The view of Lake Huron was beautiful. The lake is RIGHT THERE! No steep steps required to get to the water. The house interior has a rustic homey vibe that we just loved. It reminded us of my parents' home. The house was very clean and comfortable. While we were there, we saw a large eagle in a nearby tree. It was visible from the front window. It was perched in a nearby tree for 20 minutes and then flew off. We also met the next-door ...

«We stayed off season and the weather could have been better. We had an issue with the door lock which could have been avoided if the key code had been texted or emailed instead of spoken over a poor connection. The cottage was clean and roomy. We stayed in the 1st floor bedroom which really needs a new mattress. The location is perfect for viewing Lake Huron without obstruction. Even with the windows closed you can hear the waves lap the shore.»

«We had seven adults, two kids under ten, and a dog. Plenty of space for everyone to have their own space. The house is very well appointed with linens, dishes, utensils, etc. All the rooms have oscillating fans which is nice if you sleep with a fan on for the white noise. The access to Silver Lake across the street is great, the front and back decks and outdoor areas are very comfortable, and the access to the silver lake dunes orv area is great. Five minute drive.
