«Clean and comfy hotel very close to the Cape Town terminal. Friendly and informative staff. Free 2 minute ride with the shuttle bus (to and from) every 30 min. Continental breakfast served from 04:00! in the morning, full breakfast (omelette etc) from 06:00. Good environmental effort to save water, recycle plastic etc 👍»

«The Protea Hotel Tyger Valley was Magical. In the perfect location with breathless views of the entire city of Cape Town including the beautiful Table Mountains. The hotel room was exceptionally clean and neat with everything one needs soft cozy beds and the best sheets silky and soft. The staff were amazing from the speedy check in with a wonderful reception from Busiswe and Mpho. «Simply the best first night in a foreign country experience we've ever had. Jayne and Le Roux are the perfect people to work in hospitality and the attention to detail was unbelievably outstanding. The whole property is absolutely amazing and it's far more than just a hotel - the experiences offered from the meals to the wine tasting to the runner duck watching (has to be seen to be believed) are fantastic and they set the bar for the rest of our time in South Africa very high indeed.»
