«I absolutely love staying here! A beautiful view, so peaceful with the lake every morning. It was a save for me with the microwave and stove so I can cook dinner for myself since I didn’t want to rely on the fire for food. A dream solo vacation with just me a dog. Highly recommend!»

«The location is awesome overlooking the bay. This was a last minute vrbo selection for us and we could not have been happier. Looking out the windows to view the boats and harbor was like a post card of Maine come true. Although it was just the two of us, the house can easily accommodate 6 people. 2 bathrooms are always a bonus. Communication with the property management was excellent.»

Cottage was very homey with gas logs and everything needed was provided. We would definitely recommend this property! If we return to Maine in the future, we would rent it again.»

«We drove from Missouri with our 37 foot trailer not realizing all the parks for camping would be closed. We almost turned back but decided to leave our trailer in Old Orchard Beach and on a whim, found this lovely peaceful retreat for our brief visit to Acadia National Park. We saw ANP in a day, even hiked. When we came back to our rental the pond was glass like conditions so we pulled our own kayaks onto the water (even though they have plenty of boats for the offering) for a sweet float. The ...

Desert Island was good for us. We had easy access to Acadia National Park and could drop into the busyness of Bar Harbor when we wanted that experience.»

«Best part is the location, a large deck overlooking Johnson Bay--seals, loons, scoters, and other birds. Close to downtown Lubec, Campobello Island, West Quoddy lighthouse and trails, and the amazing network of trails developed by Cobscook Shores and other land trusts. We had a few snafus checking in and getting the wi-fi set-up, but our host Angela was very responsive and prompt in getting things fixed up and provided us lots of information of things to do.
