«The staff is very, very polite and helpful. The room was big, with air conditioning (something to consider in the case of a long stay in the Portuguese summer), very clean and the bed was perfect. The facilities were excellent (swimming pool area, breakfast area, etc). Fitness room could have been a bit bigger but it is possible to keep oneself in shape. And the building itself is worth a visit! Highly recommend and I will sure be coming back next year.»

«A beautiful converted convent with a magnificent pool area. The also had a small playground, albeit nowhere for parents to sit and watch the kids play. Great lunch, a bit on the pricy side. The communal rooms and the bedroom showed obvious signs of the times, meaning it was a but run down here and there, but all in all worth it! 20-25 minute walk to the old town.»

«The hotel is not modern but has modern upgrades in the rooms and is right on the waterfront. It is the only property for about 4 km so a car is necessary (also needed for the beaches). The restaurant food is high quality. The staff were helpful and eager but they were understaffed while we were there, so seem rushed all the time. »

«Excellent Pousada with wonderful views. Staff very friendly, room well equipped. Rooms at the front of the hotel have amazing views. Good buffet breakfast included. Restaurant was okay though not exceptional. Plenty of parking . Road up from town winding and cobbled but okay. Would stay again »
