The Beijing metro system is fast, cheap, easy to use and will take you anywhere in no time. So really, really practical location with regard to visiting all parts of the city. Wangfujing street it self is of course right there, with shopping, restaurants and all those things. Walking distance to Forbidden city, Tiananmen square, +++
