The room was clean and comfortable for what it was. I didn’t know when I booked this place that we would have to walk up and down 23 outside stairs everyday.
I was informed of the code code to get in the building, and our door would be open with keys on the counter when we arrived. That was not the case. Thankfully, the cleaning staff was still there and helpful. They had to get us the code to unlock our door.
The next morning, we were locked inside of our room because the door knob was broken. There is a door knob and a deadbolt. I opened the window, and I yelled out at a gentleman that was sweeping up the parking lot. And of course, there was a language barrier he didn’t understand.. I then, messaged on WhatsApp that we were locked in our room and could not get out. I received an auto response stating their hours of operation were from 8:30 AM to 5pm. We had been trying to get out for an hour. I messaged them back and told them, it was 8:30 AM. They finally responded that they would send maintenance. We had taken a butter knife and removed the door knob and were able to open the door. Maintenance arrived at that moment and put the broken door knob back on. They told us we were not able to lock the door knob. We could only use the deadbolt from here on out. So that is what we did.
Getting a warm shower did not exist. The water never turned hot. We took cold showers the entire time we were there.
The condition of the room could have been better… The air conditioner did not
