«We stayed in 4 hotels across Sri Lanka on our trip and this was by far the very best hotel we visited. It is such beautiful accommodation, thoughtfully designed. It's clean, modern, safe and you feeling totally immersed in the forest/jungle. The staff were beyond polite and helpful, always greeting us warmly - especially those in the dining area. The hotel is so stunning, I service is incredible, the nature is all encompassing and the food is amazing! Would highly highly recommend. «Første kveld fant vi flere kakerlakker på badet. Hotelpersonalet kom med en sprayflaske og vi så ingen etterpå. Restaurant er stor og det er masse buffet-retter å velge i mellom. Det ble en del rot med regningen, som vi fikk rettet opp. Helt grei hotel, men om man ønsker å finne ekte Sri Lanka, skulle jeg valgt et annet hotel. Jeg fikk en veldig syden-stemning på grunn av den spanske musiken, som ble spilt.»

«We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff were consistently helpful and friendly, making us feel very well looked after. The swimming pool was a great —perfect for a refreshing dip after climbing Sigiriya Rock. The hotel is in a slightly isolated location, but this wasn’t an issue for us and actually added to the peaceful atmosphere.»

«When I arrived I was told the hotel was closed. I took pictures to prove I was there as I had already paid through Expedia. I then had a ‘neighbour’ show up to ‘offer’ alternate accommodation at a very much more cost! The hotel is on a back street and when confronted with having to find an option on the day when I was hoping to visit the palace I conceded to the higher price. This was classic ‘bait & switch! Do not ever book this hotel!!!!»
