We stated in a king outer corridor room at the back of the property that the room door opened right out to the parking lot.
The draft around the door was so bad that the heater, which was somehow oddly at the back of the room in a sort of half closet had to be on high all night to stay warm in the room.
The double jacuzzi tub was a old red one that had been repainted white and the paint was peeling off.Literally, there were flakes in the tub when a bath was run.
There was a stain on the wall, right near the toilet paper. Holder, which to me looked like someone had smeared something disgusting on the wall. However, when I addressed that with the MOD in the morning, was told its the type of paint that they had used to paint the rooms and those kinds of repairs cannot be done during their busy season.
We stayed for NYE and at 130am someone decided to rev their loud car for 5 min straight while it backfired right behind our room (sounded like they were in the room or would drive through the wall) Having had to sign a special waiver that I would not disturb anyone because of NYE, i called the front desk to send someone around. I was told very rudely, by the night clerk that he was the only one on duty "what did i want him to do?" I brought it up to the MOD next morning who basically dismissed me, took his side, said he was the only one there and it was a street.
Usually we love this hotel but this experience warrants a review. Even poor customer service this time!
