Orchid Cottage is a tastefully converted 18th-century barn set on a peaceful 20-acre equestrian holding, just a stone’s throw from the breathtaking Cardigan Bay coastline. Surrounded by rolling countryside and tucked away in a tranquil corner of West Wales, it’s the perfect place to unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy quality time with friends, family, and four-legged companions.

Inside, Orchid Cottage is thoughtfully furnished and well equipped to create a true home-from-home experience. The layout takes full advantage of the beautiful views, with the bedrooms on the ground floor and the spacious, open-plan living area upstairs. Exposed oak beams and rustic touches add warmth and character, while large windows fill the space with natural light and lovely countryside vistas.

The cottage is ideally located near the charming seaside villages of Aberporth, Tresaith, Llangrannog, New Quay, and Mwnt, each with its own character, history, and folklore. With sandy, dog-friendly beaches that are safe for swimming and exploring, the area is a haven for families, beach lovers and walkers. A short drive brings you to the historic market town of Cardigan, where you can explore an eclectic mix of independent shops, visit Cardigan Castle, and stroll along the expansive beach at Poppit Sands.

A network of footpaths meanders through the village and wildflower-lined country lanes connects the surrounding villages, ideal for a bike ride, so feel free to bring your own. At night, the lack of light pollution offers incredible stargazing opportunities and a peaceful night’s sleep that’s hard to find elsewhere.

Whether you're paddleboarding or kayaking off the coast of Aberporth, pony trekking through the Preseli Hills, exploring Cardigan Island, or simply relaxing with a book and a view, Orchid Cottage offers a warm welcome. Orchid Cottage sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms: 1 double and 1 twin. The accommodation is upside down with bedrooms and bathrooms on the ground floor and the living area upstairs.

Bedroom 2: 2 single beds, bedside drawers and lamp, wardrobe, space for an extra child's bed if required

Kitchen: electric hob and fan oven, 9 litre air fryer, microwave, fridge with small box freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, tea towels, oven glove and hand towel.

Large lawned garden area, private patio area, table, chairs, firepit and BBQ and spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Driveway parking for 2 cars directly next to the cottage. On-site utility room with washing machine and large chest freezer
