Island Sunrise offers many vantage points to savor the sunrise: the back patio, the upper deck, the screened porch, and the living room. Pick your nook and let the sun work its magic! Enjoy sunsets too! From the front deck, enjoy a happy hour as the sun sets over the marsh. Wow!

Indoors, Island Sunrise continues to delight. The well-appointed kitchen includes a 5-burner gas stove, dishwasher, and French-door fridge. It is fully furnished with dishes, glassware, and cooking acoutrements. The breakfast bar provides extra prep space, allowing guests to witness culinary creativity. The kitchen also offers a wide array of small appliances, including an air fryer and juicer.



Enjoy appetizers and happy hour in the cozy living room. The wrap-around sofa features individually controlled recliners for every seat! Relax in your preferred position - perfect for watching the large screen (65-inch) smart TV or playing board games in front of the gas fireplace.

The master bedroom features gorgeous sunrise and sunset views, a comfortable king bed, a cozy chair, and chaises on the deck for sunrise relaxation. The first-floor guest bedroom has a comfortable full bed and a dropleaf desk with chair, along with a large closet, two bedside tables with lamps, an armoire, and large screen smart TV.. The second-floor bunk room offers two twin bunk beds and a desk with a work chair, with a front-loading washer and dryer hidden in the closet.



Island Sunrise includes two full baths, one on each floor. The first-floor bathroom features a soaking tub with shower. The second-floor bathroom has a walk-in shower with both a shower head and hand-held shower.

Plum Island is a 6-mile long barrier beach that extends south of Newburyport. Most of it makes up the Parker River Wildlife Refuge, which is visited seasonally by nearly 300 bird species.

Walking on a beach across a National Wildlife Refuge, hearing the waves crashing on long, sandy beaches, watching birds and deer nearby…

A walk is a nice introduction to the extraordinary diversity of the Plum Island scenery. Take a walk both on the beach and on the main Refuge road, which offers wonderful views on the Plum Island River marshes and the Broad Sound.



Plum Island creates a nice protected bay which leads to marshes along the Parker River - take a kayak or paddleboard tour through the marshes.
