I’ve never written a review for a hotel prior to checking out. But feel compelled to do so because the experience has been a nightmare. The check-in process which was contactless took half a day to complete due to a faulty online system and challenges reaching hotel personnel (who did not apologize for the extended holds, and did not call me back when he said he would). Once we arrived, we greeted by a chaotic “common space” which was occupied by the same 2 families for over 24 hours. These families ran up and down the hallways, crying, and yelling, without any consideration of the other guests. Unfortunately the walls of our room did not serve as a sound barrier. They are paper thin. We can even hear the snores of the guests in the adjacent room. To make matters worse, the shower water was cold. The pool was also frigid! There is no phone in the room to contact staff for assistance.
We cannot wait to check out tomorrow morning! This has been an awful stay. We will find other accommodations when we return to Mt Sunapee for skiing. We plan to make an official complaint soon.
