Great stay downtown Newburg
Visiting family for the holidays. This an upstairs apartment, well layed out, well furnished. Very comfortable. Loved the decor. Just wished the freestanding gas fireplace was working but it did have central heat so no problem. Would stay here again.

Great Stay in Newberg
Lori's place was wonderful! Very well appointed and thought out! A great jumping off point to all things in the Willamette Valley and walking distance to everything in downtown Newberg. Lori was helpful with suggestions for local restaurants/wineries and very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Not a complaint, but if there was one thing I would change/add would be curtains/drapes/blinds over the kitchen window. There's a great view of the sunrise from there but could be bright. We would definitely stay again the next time we are in Newberg. Thank you Lori for hosting us! Nick

The cutest little place!
This was the cutest and cleanest vacation home we’ve ever stayed in. I was extremely impressed with everything. In the description, it said there would be bottled water and half and half in the fridge. I was glad I brought some just in case because there was nothing there. Which was totally fine! But if you’re relying on that, you may want to bring your own. Otherwise, it was an absolutely amazing stay!

Love Newberg and PN
Newberg is wonderful! The people are very kind and hospitable. The food is farm to table and excellent variety. The wine is outstanding. Learned so much from the wineries and also the convenience of wine bars/ flights.

Downtown Newberg
The apartment is well-appointed with great looking quirky decor. There are lots of good looking shops, restaurants and bars in the immediate area, and coffee right across the street! Communication from the host was awesome, she even let us know about an event in town that weekend with a fireworks display just a few blocks away.

Perfect location for weekend of wine and relaxing
This property was adorable and perfectly located in Newberg for walking to restaurants. We got great recommendations from the property owner and enjoyed a fancy Italian lunch, played bar trivia down the street and got delicious coffee just across the street. We also enjoyed a street festival just outside the front door. Loved staying here and we were very comfortable in the apartment

Great location, very fun and interesting decor.
We were wine tasting so this was a good location. In the morning we walked across to the bakery, in the evening walked around the corner to several good restaurants. Good selection of channels/apps to choose from on the TV as well.

Cute apartment in great location
Had a really good stay at Lori's home. Had a small issue when we arrived but Lori took care of it right away. Home is located in a perfect location to walk to dinner, coffee or a drink. Loved the Wednesday night farmer's market right out our front door. Easy communication with Lori and parking is a breeze.

Graduation Stay
We came to town for our sons graduation and had a lovely stay at Lori’s place. The location ways fabulous and the place was spotless!!! When I needed help or to ask a question Lori got back to me within minutes! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!!

Consistently Exceptional
Once again an amazing trip, elevated by staying at Lori’s place. Close to everything so we walked everywhere and the coffee across the street is amazing. We made it to the cheese shop/bar down the street and had an amazing time along with the wine shop below. I can’t wait to visit again!!

Perfect location in Newburg
My best friend and I got together here for a few days of exploring Oregon wines. This was a great place for us! We each had our own bed and bathroom and the apartment was well equipped. Plenty of towels and supplies including soap, garbage bags, etc. The place was clean and perfectly located in downtown Newburg within walking distance of tasting rooms, shops, and restaurants and just across the street from a nice little coffee/breakfast place! We enjoyed our stay very much and recommend it highly!

Light filled upstairs apartment with a whimsical remodel. Just off main street, an easy stroll to downtown tasting rooms, shopping and restaurants. Enjoyed our time here and heartily recommend the Downtowner and Newberg!

Wonderful 2BR condo for Wine Country Visit
We loved this condo. We visited with another couple for 2 nights and 2 days of wine tasting in Willamette. It’s perfectly located to walk to dinner, not far from a great number of wineries, offers easy street parking and is super clean and comfortable. We loved the decor and thoroughly enjoyed the record player and music selection. We plan to return to the area and would consider staying here again.

Great Girl's Weekend
Our group selected this property for a girl's wine getaway in the Willamette region. The apartment was adorable and perfectly located. It was spotless and was plenty of room for the three of us. We did not cook, but the kitchen looked well stocked. It did contain all the appliances and flatware we needed. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms updated and well appointed. We were able to spend one day on a walking wine tasting tour on and around 1st Street, and then contracted Insider Wine Tours for two more days to visit vineyards farther away. We had an amazing trip and would love to visit again.

Excellent Experience
Everything went very smoothly from check-in to check-out. Lori was very accommodating when I added a third person to our group a few days before our arrival. The apartment is in a great location, was very clean and comfortable for the three of us on our girls' trip. Having AC was very welcome as it was in the 80's when we were there and the apartment is located on the 2nd floor of the building. Street parking was no problem for us. Thanks again, Lori!

Location, location, location
My family and I were in Newberg for a family reunion and I cannot state enough just how much the four of us enjoyed staying in this comfortable centrally located apartment. Nearly everything you’d desire is walking distance from the apartment, no more than 5 blocks. Delicious coffee and cinnamon rolls, unique pizza, bar and grills, BBQ, fun wine tasting spots, cute antique shops and easy travel to wineries. The apartment itself is just the right size for 4. Large hangout area, well equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and beds. Plenty of room to stretch out. All amenities I’d expect were there and easy to use. Parking is on the street, but we never had any issues finding a spot within a half block of the front door. The days were warm and it was always pleasant to arrive back to the apartment and it’s wonderful AC. The property owners were very easy to work with and communicated effectively and efficiently with me. They provided a thorough list of places to eat, drink and explore. Check in was smooth and checking out was seamless. We will absolutely try to stay here again the next time we are in Newberg.

The location is easy from the Tualatin/Sherwood area. We came for a 4-day trip and everything was as promised. Very clean, up-to-date amenities. The coffee shop across the street is amazing! Great cinnamon rolls. Quiet place. We will definitely be back.

Winery weekend
We had a great weekend exploring area wineries( Ponzi, Brooks, Lenne)with another couple and used this apartment base our base camp. The apartment was well appointed with everything we needed for our adventure. The apartment was clean and well maintained and centrally located to restaurants (Ruddick/Wood, Newburgundian, Fat Milo’s) and tasting rooms and shops. With over 200 wineries and tasting rooms in the area, I am sure we’ll be back and wouldn’t hesitate to use this apartment again. Hosts communicated well and informed us of everything we needed to know. Thank you.

Quick weekend getaway
This was our second time staying at Doug and Lori’s “home” in downtown Newberg. Walking distance to restaurants, cafes and George Fox University. Easy check-in/check out process. The place was again immaculate. We’ve stayed at numerous places in Newberg and this is definitely our favorite. Would highly recommend staying here.
