Round Top girls trip

The house and property was quiet but reasonable drive to shop. It was spacious. The beds were so comfortable. Everything was very well stocked and the hosts were so responsive. Highly recommend!

Weekend to Remember in New Ulm

My little brother was getting married this weekend, and we wanted a good place near The Vine. This farmhouse was perfect! The communication with the host was exceptional, and we had a wonderful time.

Peaceful retreat

Excellent for spending focused time with family. Swimming to stay cool, nature walks seeing lizards, GIANT grasshoppers, cicadas, an armadillo. Music on Bluetooth speaker poolside, kids loved the Koi pond! Enough space for entire family to eat together and sit to visit, but also separate spaces for each to pursue quiet time, games, children’s nap time.

Nice girls weekend at farmhouse

We had a pleasant weekend in the country with our college group. Host Vipula was very responsive and helpful. Our group of six enjoyed the fact that there were four bedrooms and three bathrooms and that all bedrooms had multiple beds in them. The air conditioning had not been turned on in the guest house when we arrived, which might have been our fault for not letting them know we were going to use it, so to begin with it did smell a bit musty, but once we got the units up and going, it was just fine. We did not use the party barn/game room, but we could see where the property could really be excellent for families with children. I agree with a previous comment that the pool area might be tidied up a bit - there were pool toys and floats all all around the area. We certainly understood with the drought and recent rains that the lawns might be a bit brown so we didn't expect perfect landscaping! Beautiful flowers outside the main house and near the pool with lots of hummingbirds to watch. We struggled a bit with the television but finally got it figured out and I'm sure we could have called for help on that if needed. The seating for our group of six was very comfortable, which can sometimes be a problem. The kitchen was well kitted out and we had no problem heating the food we brought. Vipula brought over extra dishwasher pods when we ran out which was very nice. We saw one previous comment that the mattresses were firm, but half of our group loved that! The area is very quiet and relaxing.

Great getaway

We l9ved the location. The pool was a big hit with all the kids and even the adults. The house, game room, outdoor grill and pool were wonderful. A few of the beds were a little firm, but overall it was a great experience!

Astounding

Our first blended family get together. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the county life. A very diverse place to stay, something for everyone. Hammocks, books, TV, game room, volleyball, washers, cornhole, pool table, darts, chairs, benches or swings for the sunsets and sunrises. The big hit was the pool! Loved the spaciousness of the property. Utilized the outdoor BBQ/Grilling hut. Loved it! From booking to check out was a breeze, the owners stayed in touch every step of the way and responded expeditiously to any questions we had. Met us there and gave a tour of the property which came in handy. An excellent place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city/suburb area and enjoy the quiet night with bright stars. Thank you for an amazing start to a new chapter in life! A memory that we will cherish and WE will be back!

Surprised

While the location was great for our purpose, the description and pictures of the property wasn’t exactly what we saw when we arrived. The house was clean but the outside looked like it hadn’t been cleaned up in a long time. The pool was not clean and it looked like someone lived at the property rather than being a VRBO. The towels and sheets were new but I would suggest mattress pads for the beds. I hate not leaving a good review for people but this is a lot of money to pay for a property in this condition. It served its purpose but we couldn’t wait to leave and you shouldn’t feel that way when you are vacationing. The communication was great. She really was thorough and responsive.

Perfect peace

What a beautiful property and home! So open and welcoming. So tranquil and refreshing. My children and I enjoyed a long weekend together with nature, and in such a lovely home. The hosts were so gracious, so attentive to detail and communication. We all left feeling rested and recharged. Best weekend getaway ever!!

Very Unique Property

We enjoyed our short stay here but wished it could have been longer. It is definitely a place to come to and be outside! Lot’s of things to see and do on the property. Very clean, the owners provided all necessary kitchen cleaning products as well as shampoo and body soap. It was very welcoming arriving with snacks and water waiting for us. The only negative I would have is that when you want to take some time to relax and watch a movie or tv as a group, the way the main house is set up it is a little uncomfortable the way the furniture is arranged and the placement of the television. But other than that we enjoyed everything!! The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating!!

Fantastic Property

This was such a great property for our group. It had everything we need to enjoy the weekend...pool, games, space, and outdoor fun. Property was clean and clear that it had been set up for guests. Would absolutely stay again!
