Country Stay
Beautiful very clean property. We have stayed at many VRBO places across the USA and came prepared with our own “stuff”. Next time staying here, and there will be a next time, no need to bring our own stuff other than clothes. Everything furnished nice and kitchen items were nice not just 2nd hand items. Nothing overlooked. Outside was so relaxing with the sound of water. Thanks for the great stay!

Peaceful retreat
We wanted to get away for a week to a peaceful place to recharge, read, write, and enjoy nature. This location was easy to find and absolutely what we were looking for! You can hear some cars go by, but in the backyard there are the trees and creek so it's easy to ignore. The back patio and chairs by the creek are where I spent every morning enjoying my coffee and listening to nature. The sun room was perfect for reading and writing during the day when it was too hot/humid outside and the view was absolutely lovely. We saw a blue heron and some deer along with lovely birds and butterflies and little minnows in the creek. The fireplace inside was the perfect place to sit and read or watch some tv in the evening. And there's so little light pollution that at night you can go out back and see stars - we even got to see a shooting star! This is a lovely location, the cabin was very clean, everything that was needed was present, the property manager is very responsive and helpful, and we would absolutely recommend this place to anyone! It was a perfect choice for us and I hope everyone else loves this quiet retreat.

Relaxing Weekend Away
My wife and I stayed here for a weekend in order to get away from the city and enjoy some quiet time together. Micki is a terrific host and extremely generous. The house itself was in wonderful condition. We loved the narrow stream running around the property. There were so many things to do in the area -- hiking, great restaurants, and mini golf. We highly recommend the house and the host.

The beautiful Creekside cabin
Creekside cabin is a beautiful cabin. it is very clean and private. it is very relaxing to sit outside down by the creek, or just to sit inside by the fireplace. It is a nice location, We found all kinds of thing to do. on a rainy day we went shopping on the nice days we went to the zoo, a fair, Cabela's the best is spending the day in Jim Thorp where we took a train ride and visited all the local shops. this cabin is a fantastic place. We are really glad we picked Creekside cabin for our vacation

Family getaway!
This was our 2nd stay at this location. First time it was my wife and I before our children…now we brought our 2 children and we had a blast! Very nostalgic bringing the kids and plan to make this a tradition. Micki was great again!

The cabin was very clean. The host was very nice. We didn’t need to communicate while we weee there because there were no issues. However I did communicate with her several times prior to arriving. She was always responsive and very nice. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay
We had a really peaceful weekend staying here. The cabin was very clean and had everything you’d want to feel comfortable and relaxed. Great property with water all around. Very easy to get there and great communication from the owner. Would definitely stay there again!

Staycation to Surprise oldest daughter
First of all the Cozy little cabin was amazing and the scenery was beautiful. We visited in early April so the spring bloom had not occurred . The creek running behind the property was so relaxing to hear while sitting in the chairs . We seen a red fox and a few deer as well that visited us while hanging out near the creek. the inside was well furnished and the beds are comfy and warm. We will be back to enjoy this place again sometime guaranteed.

Perfect Rental
We stayed at the cabin for the weekend and visited Blue Mountain for skiing each day. It was great to come back to this perfectly decorated creekside cabin after a long day of skiing. It is very clean and comfortable. Michele has done a great job decorating the cabin and keeping it stocked with everything you need. She is also very quick in responding to any questions you have. My whole family loved it and we made some great memories. We can't wait to visit again.

Everything was perfect!
This place was perfect in every way. Everything was either new, like new or just super clean and well maintained. Perfectly decorated for a cabin. The sunroom was the crown jewel of the place—sunny all day—you can read a book while listening to the backyard streams trickle. I can see why this place is rated as highly as it is…the host knows what she’s doing. You won’t be disappointed.

Amazing Weekend Getaway
This adorable cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway and exactly what we were looking for. Quiet, very clean, beautiful property with amazing views. Everything was so cozy and the outdoor space was beautiful. Stocked with all the supplies you needed was an added bonus, felt like a 5 star hotel. Communication regarding checkin or any questions were answered very quickly. Can't wait to visit again soon!

This cabin is really lovely, beautifully outfitted with excellent amenities. We enjoyed the bear motifs👍🐻. A perfect sunroom for board games, and a great location for birding around the beautiful yard and along the backyard brook. We look very forward to a return visit!

We stayed for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary and disconnect from the craziness of every day life. Mission accomplished! This cabin is so cozy and comfortable. Our favorite place was in front of the fireplace. It was pretty cold outside, but I couldn’t resist sitting out by the creek with my blanket reading my book for awhile. It was so peaceful! The cabin is beautifully decorated, extremely clean, the kitchen is well appointed, and the beds are comfortable. We will be back.

Wedding Weekend Retreat
Micki and her husband were incredible hosts! The house was immaculate upon arrival and it's charm/comfort were exactly what we were looking for during our wedding weekend. Having coffee next to the babbling brook was the perfect way to start the morning. Micki was also very accommodating and flexible for our hectic weekend schedule. We will certainly be renting this house again in the future!

It was a great house and updated. There's a lovely stream surrounding the backyard, fire pit, grill and a lot of fun amenities close by. Allentown has a lot things to do so you wont be bored.

Beautiful & CLEAN!
Husband & I came up for our anniversary & spent the whole week. This was one of the nicest, cleanest, most relaxing property rentals we've ever stayed at. Kitchen has what looks like new (not cheap) appliances. Everything works, nothing was broken, shabby, or cheap. Which is rare for a house rental; usually they're stocked with the owner's secondhand used kitchen items & things left behind by other guests. Unfortunately we did not get to make use of the gas fireplace because it was warmer & more humid than we expected for September. But the firepit outside was very nice, gas grill was nice & clean, easy to use. We loved sitting by the stream & listening to the quiet. If you go outside early enough & quietly in the morning, you might catch a glimpse of the Crane who lives by the water. She won't hang out long once you come out but you'll see her fly away. And they have central air which was GREAT for sleeping! You can tell that the owners put thought and care into the place, not one part of it was uncomfortable. & Don't complain about not being able to bring pets. There's a REASON why the house is so clean! I would would definitely stay here again!

Absolute Perfection
Have you ever been so overjoyed that you wanted to run around the house shouting "whohoo" and jump on the beds?? Well, I didn't, but this was the overall feeling after arriving at the cabin for a 4-night getaway. I knew it was going to be great, but staying at this cabin exceeded all expectations. Being a bit of a germaphobe, I can honestly say this cabin was the cleanest place I have ever stayed in my life. Not once during the 4 days did I come across any dirt, grime, hair, bugs, or stains. The home was beautifully furnished and appointed with everything I could have possibly needed. I felt entirely comfortable and at home. The bed was also extremely comfortable and welcoming for my exhausted self. I can't recommend this cabin highly enough. It is spacious enough to accommodate a small group/family but is cozy enough for a single or couple getaway. The yard was meticulous and I would have spent more time by the lovely babbling stream if it wasn't so hot and humid. Luckily, inside the cabin was a perfect temperature the whole time. Thank you to the host for going the extra mile to make the place immaculately clean and for the extra touches. It's clear a lot of love and thought has gone into making this a special place for guests to enjoy. You will not regret a stay here.

Perfect Getaway!
This property was amazing! Exactly like the pictures. The home has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The weather didn't cooperate with me as it rained all weekend, but that was okay I relaxed in the sunroom, read a book, did some crosstitch and loved watching the creek and was even greeting with a woodpecker and a fawn during my stay. Quiet, secluded, and enough room to spread out and enjoy the outdoors
We had a great time there and enjoyed being outside and able to relax watching the creek. The inside of the cabin was spacious and accommodating. The only problem we encountered was the shower in the master bath was a little small for us. Other than that we had an enjoyable stay and the host was easy to get ahold of and to work with she has been awesome in helping us.

Highly recommend!
My wife and I were searching for a short last minute “escape” from home, without too much travel. We found 4 nights available here, and due to the large amount of great reviews, immediately decided to give it a try... All I can really add is the reviews, photos and descriptions are all VERY accurate... very clean, very comfortable, and one of the best “stocked” homes we have stayed at.. pretty much anything you would really need is there... Supply meals and beverages and you are good to go. If you were to need anything, the local grocer is just a few minutes away. The weather was not the best by far, but the home, (especially the sunroom and streams) still made for a very enjoyable stay. (Yes, there really are streams on 3 sides of the property.) Looking forward to another visit with better weather! Thank you Micki! P.S. if you happen to visit Wanamakers General Store, their unique version of malted milk balls is absolutely the best I have ever had.
