What a fantastic weekend at Whitecap! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a special place. The photos don't do it justice—the home is perfectly kept and maintained. You can tell the owners pour so much love and care into it, with everything from the sparkling clean floors to the crisp linens being immaculate. It honestly felt like we were the first guests to ever stay there. The property's upkeep was truly impressive, with everything in working order and a clear focus on regular upkeep.The attention to detail was incredible. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials, and every room was decorated with a warm, inviting touch that made it so easy to settle in. And the location is unbeatable, with the beach just a short, five-minute walk away. We loved being able to easily pop over to the sand whenever we wanted.The weekend was pure bliss. We spent our time relaxing in the well appointed rooms, sipping coffee on the patio, and just enjoying the quiet escape. It was the perfect little getaway, and we’re already dreaming about our next trip back.Our host's graciousness was the cherry on top. Their communication was easy and friendly, and they went above and beyond to make sure we felt right at home. It's rare to find someone so genuinely kind and accommodating, and their hospitality truly made our stay unforgettable. We are so grateful for their generosity and for sharing their vision with us.

Perfect for a Family Gathering

We were 12 family members ages 7 to 75 and this house was perfect for us. There are several common rooms for the group to comfortably gather with a very large kitchen island where we spent a lot of time. The house is supplied with everything we could have wanted included very high quality beds, bedding, pool towels, and a fully stocked kitchen, even including helpful things like spices. The pool was so nicely heated that the kids spent every spare moment in it and a calm quiet beach is only a couple blocks away. It is a very special home in a beautiful location. The hosts were very nice, communicated quickly and were very accommodating. We wish we could have stayed longer.

The most perfect home for our winery weekend. The location of the home was minutes from a lot of wineries and restaurants. The owners were an absolute delight and greeted us when we got there and showed us around the gorgeous house. We will be booking this home again in the future!

Perfect getaway

Business Sales Retreat/Team building

Whitecap and its neighboring cottage proved to be the perfect haven for our Northeast Team Business Kick-Off—a true gem. With ample space to comfortably accommodate our group of 9 adults, the main house, cottage, and surrounding grounds were tailor-made for fostering camaraderie through team-building activities and breakout sessions. Moreover, its proximity to a delightful local restaurant and cocktail bar, just a leisurely stroll away, added to the overall charm of the location. The location, with its diverse dining options, golfing opportunities, and local wineries to explore, offered us an array of exciting team-building experiences throughout our stay. Needless to say, the venue surpassed all expectations. The hosts of Whitecap were beyond accommodating, exuding warmth and friendliness that made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Their responsiveness to our needs was exceptional, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone. I am genuinely thrilled to have stumbled upon Whitecap and its wonderful hosts, and I am already looking forward to the possibility of returning for our next team-building event. Not Your Ordinary Vacation Rental

This property is right out of travel magazine. My friends and I rented the Luxury Seaside Get Away and the partner property the Cottage to jointly celebrate our 65th birthdays. Everything was meticulous, from the furnishings, salt water heated pool, the outdoor spaces to the upscale appliances, dishes and linens. There were multiple gathering spaces, both indoors and out. It's hard to pick a favorite, maybe the wrap around porch for a cup of tea in the morning! The owners were a delight to work with from beginning to end. It is clear this house is more than just a rental property to them. I can't recommend it enough. We are already planning our next stay!

Alli the host is incredible. She met us at the house to show us everything and shared things to do prior to our trip. The home is beautiful, so clean and feels like you’re at a hotel while being in the comfort of a home. Love the proximity to town, beach, restaurants and wineries. Great house!

Excellent experience from the minute we arrived and was greeted by one of the owners. House was very nice with plenty of room for our large family! Pool was heated with a great backyard. Walking distance from beach but a few of us took the ride with the bikes they provided. I would highly recommend staying here!

Whitecap is a must stay!

We had a family wedding in the vineyards at Mattituck on Labor Day weekend. The Whitecap main house and cottage was the perfect place for our extended family reunion! 6 sisters with various significant others, dozens of cousins and a few grand children to round it off. The main house is just spectacular! So beautifully decorated, every nook and corner hides something special just waiting to be discovered. Everything we needed was provided for and more. The property was beautifully landscaped, well maintained and clean. The salt water pool was wonderful! The weather was perfect! The butterflies made it a magical experience for us 🦋 Just an all around wonderful week. Thanks so much to Allison, Tracy and Will for their hospitality and for opening their beautiful home to us. We hope to be back again soon!

Post son’s wedding gathering with Michigan family

We had the pleasure of enjoying a few days at this amazing property Even more beautiful than the pictures Exquisitely decorated from the comfortable furnishings amazing antiques to the sparkling costal decor Every where you looked was something eye catching And more so all of your needs anticipated from 2 large refrigerators fully stocked kitchens bicycles kayaks games fire pit meticulously landscaped and of course the gorgeous saltwater pool Allison and Tracy were very welcoming and communicated promptly All of our guests were so impressed I can’t say enough nice things Our daughter even checked to rent the cottage again for later this summer but it was already booked The cottage is equally as beautiful Thank you for providing this opportunity A perfect ending to a special occasion

Beautiful White Cap

What a lovely time my girlfriends & I had celebrating our milestone birthday. There was a variety of outdoor areas to sit & enjoy this quaint quiet neighborhood. The pool was incredible, the new bikes were fun. The nearby beach was so nice. You can feel the love the owners have put into this home & property to honor their mom. What a special time we had. Great house!

The house is in a perfect location, right down the block from the beach on the bay side, so it was nice and calm for our kids, and very close driving distance to wineries and restaurants. The inground pool was amazing, too! House is very clean, has lots of amenities, and hosts are very nice and always available! Would definitely stay again.

Amazing Family Vacation

The house is stunning, and while the pictures are beautiful, they don't actually do it justice. The location is great, walk to the beach, drive to the nearby North Fork towns. The hosts are very welcoming and available and able to make great recommendations. Overall, our trip was too short and we could've spent a lot more time here!
