First and foremost, the host never replied to any of our messages, not a single one. We never checked in. We needed to move our dates due to a medical issue with my grandparent. Host never replied to help us, just took the money and ran I guess. We did book with the insurance so we're hoping we get our money back. We have since been to New Orleans after this booking and drove by the property and we were so glad we didn't stay. You could see 3 wrecked cars and cars on blocks, horrible horrible neighborhood, Palestinian flags across the street. Granted, that this house looked okay from the outside but we never went inside because we never checked in. But the pictures of the property from the outside that are on vrbo do not give you a good sense of the neighborhood you would have been in. I would not stay there with my family even if we wouldn't have tried to canceled. If you want me edit this review in the future, you need to make this right. But as it stands right now, I hope no one tries to take their family here.
