We've stayed here four or five times now and I think it could use a bit of a re-fresh: new carpeting, new mattresses and more places to plug in electronics, etc..
It was quiet which was great, as we were not out late. It's in a great location, with good walk-ability and has a really nice hotel bar.

How warm and helpful the front desk staff were was very mixed the first people who checked us in were warm and kind but one woman was very short and cold. We asked about taking the bikes out on different days. Multiple co-workers told us it should not be a problem as they were almost always available and were getting ready to help us get them when she either cut them off or told us without looking up from her screen that they were gone for the day. Perhaps this was true, but how she went about it gave the distinct impression that she just did not want to deal with getting them out - whereas her co-workers had indicated that it was an option separately on both days.

What I didn’t like was the price for what I expected vs what I got. Advertised a spa for couples massage which was solely the reason I booked there for my girlfriend and my birthday. The room was small was tripping over luggage. Bathroom bigger than sleeping area. Tv didn’t work remote was old and worn out. Staff was excellent though very friendly and the short im terrible with names but she was very friendly and helpful and personable easy to talk to and gave good recommendations where to eat what to do

Overall, my experience was great. I do wish the bedsheet that separates you from the mattress was tucked underneath and there was a chair in the room. Also, be aware, valet is $42.00 plus tax, not $40.00 like they told me, and they charge $17.70 a night for amenities, which is not included in the booking price.

A refund was process and is pending expedia refund after someone attempted to enter my room from the roof! A police report was filed and there s an open investigation into the hotel. My attorney will likely contact Expedia as well. Luckily I am not a hard sleeper, this person waited until they assumed my 8 year old son and I was sleeping. This charge with Expedia was also disputed with my bank!

Delightful hotel
This is a charming old hotel. The room I stayed in was slightly worn (base boards could use fresh paint) but it was very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would totally stay there again!

Great property. Great bar on site. Bartenders were friendly and made great drinks. Noise level from the outside was a little more than i would have liked but i think that's just NOLA in general

The property was nice, room was clean. They had no idea what I was talking about when I told them I was a gold rewards member. Never got our free tour. Thats one of the reasons I went with this hotel.

Bed was comfortable. Room was a good size. Restaurant was always closed when we were in the hotel, but there is a good breakfast restaurant across the street. No vending machines available, so be sure to bring drinks and snacks with you.
