Even though staff was friendly, and the price was good for the area, the room was not great. The glass shower door had mold and there was hair in the shower drain; there were no hooks in the bathroom and the shelf was an open style for towels, which prevented you from safely putting items on it. There was no lid for the open-style toilet seat, meaing that if you dared to put anything on the toilet tank or the open shelf, your risked your clothes falling into the toilet. What a bad idea! The breakfast was very good, but the same fare every day. The coffee was not very good but maybe that's typical for New Orleans. One of the elevators was out of service for the first few days but they didn't put an "out of order" sign on it. We sometimes walked up 5 flights due to that problem. This hotel should not be your first choice.

Convenient if you want to walk around downtown New Orleans. Staff was friendly and professional. The only complaint i have is none of the ice machines were working at the time. Most definitely use the valet parking.

Perfectly situated between the French quarter and the Mardi Gras parade route, walkable to many delicious restaurants. A few blocks from all main trolley and bus routes to get around the city. Friendly and accommodating staff from start to finish. Wonderful breakfast options every day.

A bit farther than advertised for walking distance to main areas of the French quarter and canal street, but this hotel is certainly NOT a 2-star unlike what Google says.

Very bad air conditioning in midnight the room turn out very hot when called the front desk very rude and bad attitude. And changed the room in middle of night ( 2 am ) still the new room is also the same

Our flight arrived very early so went hours before check in to see if we could leave our bags and come back later when we could check in and they offered to check if a room was ready and allowed us to check in then and there. We really appreciated that and amenities have been great so far.

Perfect . . . Except Parking Disclosure
All fantastic! Love it here. One frustration only… We booked through a third-party and were told that parking is available… We didn’t realize it was either street parking that we had to compete for and feed the meter or pay $43 for valet parking. I wish this were more clear. Parking available Means free parking to most people? Am I wrong? Sweet check in process with Tiara too!

Clean hotel. Good location. Quiet. Nice staff. Breakfast each morning. No complaints whatsoever. The elevator is a little rocky but never was an issue. Would certainly stay at this location again.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Fairfield Inn, The staff are very nice and the room is very accommodating. There's only one thing, the water pressure from the shower isn't the best. But I will still recommend ans definitely will stay again. ☆☆☆☆☆
