«The staff here is so nice and friendly and was able to accommodate us late into the night after we left our previous hotel due to terrible service and a dirty room. The hotel here is either newly remodeled or is newly built. I am leaning towards newly built since everything is so nice and clean. Nothing smells in the rooms. The AC is working amazingly. There is no AC smell at all. The bathroom is nice and brand new with no mold. The beds were clean and well kept. The view was also very nice and ...

«A positive surprise,
My first thought was "how did this place make it on to hotels.com?". The first impression were not good, but from there the hotel and area around gradually grew on us. Especially the manager were very helpful whenever we needed anything.
I brought my wife and two kids over from Norway to watch the world cup. We are not used to seeing junkies all over the street, so that was a new experience as well.
That being said, the people of Newark made this hotel what it is. A ...

«It's a nice looking property from the outside but not in the best of neighbourhoods.
The smoke detector on the 2nd floor didn't have a cover on it so not sure if it worked.
I had to ring the owner up at 23.00 as I couldn't get the front door opened. You had to pull the handle as you entered the door code.»

«Tastefully decorated, charming, and impeccably maintained. If you had told me that this hotel just opened, I would believe it - there are no signs of wear and tear, and the place is spotlessness. There was a little bit of noise from traffic outside, but it is hard to imagine any place in north Jersey where this wouldn't be the case. All in all, I'd have to say that this place is a gem.»
