«Our only complaint is that on Tuesday morning there was no place nearby to get breakfast. The hotel had good coffee, but nothing else. There is a restaurant close by but its not open on Tuesdays. We asked the front desk about breakfast and all he said was we'll probably find something open in Damariscotta, way back by Route 1. «Had a harbor side room on second floor with patio & great view; loved it. The bartender in their restaurant was fantastic—great service and personable.
When we checked in we encountered a very terse front desk employee. Very impatient and not friendly.
Bed mattresses were extremely hard & painful to sleep on. Made our own adjustments. Again front desk not helpful.»

«I arrived before 6 P.M., to find no one in the office - you accessed a lockbox containing your unit key with a combo of a Ring button, and calling a phone number posted on the office door - a woman who checked-in just before was kind enough to walk over to explain that rigamarole. The smell of must in ...

«The inn is in an old historic building, with lots of original character. Fantastic to have parking. Great location, short walk to town. We stayed in the Victory room on the first floor. Very spacious, clean and nice bedding on comfy bed. Shower was nice and hot and good water pressure. Things to know: We had a window AC but no thermostat to control heat (fortunately we had ideal weather). We were next to a restaurant in the building so had to keep curtains closed as people were walking ...
