Escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life at this charming lakefront home on beautiful Merrymeeting Lake. With your own private lake access, dock, multi level decks, & waterfront yard, you can spend your days swimming, boating, kayaking, or simply relaxing by the water. Relax & recharge at our cozy lakefront cabin on stunning Merrymeeting Lake! Hosted by HelmsBnB and affectionately known as La Casita to our family, our getaway is the ideal space for up to 4 guests. This serene retreat features sweeping lake views, a private dock, and direct water access for swimming, boating or fishing. Unwind on the spacious multi-level outdoor areas - the perfect spot for al fresco dining, grilling or spending evenings by one of the 2 fire pits - take your pick!

Both of the main level bedrooms have comfortable queen beds and the upstairs bedroom has 2 comfortable queen beds. The living room boasts a spacious sectional with gas fireplace and smart TV with floor to ceiling windows showcasing stunning lake views. Enjoy cooking in the fully stocked kitchen, with the option to dine inside or al fresco.

Please note we do allow for up to 8 guests, but to access the 3rd bedroom with the additional two queen beds, you have to climb a steep, spiral staircase. There is only one bathroom, so if you opt for our highest number of guests, we ask that you please acknowledge this in advance as it is not ideal for every group.

Outside, you are spoiled with options for enjoyment! You have your own private lake front area and dock where you can dock rented boats, use it as a jumping point for swimming, or have an adventure on the complimentary paddle boat. Please note that dock use is seasonal. If relaxing is more your speed, have coffee in the Adirondack chairs, read and nap in the hammock, spread out on the patio furniture, cook in the outdoor kitchen complete with fridge, sink and grill (+ a Big Green Egg), followed by al fresco dining and drinks under the stars around one of two fire pits.

Only a short drive to charming Wolfeboro, you can spend the day shopping, dining and having ice cream by the water.

Please note that we keep our personal boat parked on one side of the dock - it is in no way included in the rental and sitting on, tampering with or using in any way is strictly prohibited.

Guests have access to the whole house with the exception of a locked storage closet.

We are always available as needed, but never overbearing.

While we strive to minimize guest disturbances, we regularly maintain our home and may conduct lawn care during reservations, particularly on weekdays or during longer stays.

There are 87 steps down from the house to the dock. Please note that dock use is seasonal.

We are dog friendly and allow, well trained/house broken dogs (2 dogs, max). I must know at the time of booking and prior to your arrival if you will be traveling with your pup. There is a $125 dog fee, per dog, which does not cover any damage or yard clean up. Please note that we are not cat friendly due to guest allergies.

There is parking for 2-3 cars at the top of the driveway, as well as a boat trailer.

We have installed exterior only security cameras for the safety of both guest and property. These cameras are actively recording both audio and video on all exterior entrances and side doors. Any tampering with cameras, including, but not limited to covering and otherwise disabling of these cameras are grounds for early termination of reservation with no refunds whatsoever.

Absolutely no smoking inside or near open exterior doors - there is a $250 fee if this is violated.

Please note that any refunds made in accordance with our cancellation policy will be less any credit card fees.
