Wave Haven - Oregon Beach Vacations

Welcome to Wave Haven in beautiful Neskowin! This three story, 3 bedroom, 3 bath home boasts sweeping ocean views! This is the perfect location for up to 6 guests and 1 or 2 canine companions.

On the main floor you'll find the laundry room, as well as the first bedroom, which has two twin beds, a flat screen TV and a private bathroom with a shower/tub combo.

Upstairs is a guest room with a queen bed and a bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Down the hall is the spacious and well-appointed kitchen. You'll have access to everything you need to make quick and easy homemade meals.

The living and dining room showcase amazing views of the Pacific! The living room is warm and cozy with a large couch, fireplace, and two armchairs to relax in while watching a movie or some TV after a day of exploring. You'll have access to a Blu-Ray and DVD player, along with cable, WiFi, DVDs and board games. A ping pong and Foosball table can be found in the garage for guest use.

The top floor primary bedroom has a queen bed and more spectacular ocean views from a private balcony with seating for two! Enjoy a glass of wine and a sunset. The bathroom here has a jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower, and his and hers sinks. There is an additional sitting area with a futon bed and a large flat screen TV. Both upstairs rooms have skylights to let in plenty of natural light during your stay!

The back deck offers breathtaking views of Neskowin and the ocean beyond. There's outdoor furniture and a propane BBQ to use while on your stay as well, so bring your favorite ingredients for a cookout!

While staying in Neskowin, you'll have plenty to see and do. Explore the sights and sounds the town has to offer, with unique shops and restaurants. Book your stay at Wave Haven with Oregon Beach Vacations today!

Beach access is a short drive away across the highway.

3 story house with a gorgeous view! Driveway is steep and sketch and if you have an auto braking vehicle it’ll be annoying. Comfy beds and tvs all over the place to separate and hang out. Living room and loft room furniture is well loved and could be replaced. Not much of a yard but the place is pet friendly.

Looks are deceiving!

First of all I want to start out by saying communication with Oregon Beach was great! The response time was fantastic! However no where in the description that it tells you the road getting to the property is terrible now for the driveway it was horrific it’s so steep and at an angle! The view was great! The furniture is old with barely any stuffing left in them! The pots were broken or rusty! We found mice droppings in some of them! I had to have my husband bring some of ours from home! If someone put a little love into this property it could be a gem!

Will Stay Here Again

After reading the reviews I packed a small cleaning kit and hand held carpet cleaner. I didn't need them. As a former housekeeper/inspector I usually plan to do an extra five minutes here and there at a VRBO since many times the people cleaning aren't pros. This place was just fine. No animal smell. White hotel-style sheets and towels. There is some staining on the light carpet, but it didn't bother me. My kids spent two hours downstairs playing ping pong and foosball before they even went upstairs. They were wowed. We sed the washer and dryer with no issues. The refrigerator was completely empty, which I prefer. If I need groceries, even salt, I bring it myself . I brought my own cutting board, chef's knife, and frying pan, so no complaints. There are indeed no wine glasses, but there are a couple of water goblets that would be close enough. The views are breathtaking. I could see the ocean right when I woke up. The road to the house is narrow, steep, and winding - try to get there in the daytime. There is a sign at the bottom of the driveway so you know you are in the right place. Last, if this place was remodeled with newer furniture it wouldn't be in my price range. There was a musty cabin smell, but I just opened the screened windows to let fresh air in during warmer parts of the day. It was just fine. I'm sensitive to smell but it didn't bother me. I also disinfect all sinks and tubs as soon as I arrive anywhere, and the cleaner covers smells

Amazing view but needs work

The view was amazing but the house really isnt maintained well. Furniture is shabby and sparse and the kitchen is not equipped well. The floorplan worked well for our group but the basement musty smell made it unuseable. The house really needs to be cleaned better.

Massage chair with awesome views

I discovered the massage chair almost immediately and spent most of my time after the kids went to sleep relaxing in the chair and watching the sunset over the ocean. Had never really been to Neskowin (driven through 100 times). Really great little town with a huge and fun beach. The house was great. No complaints other than one of the pots was rusting out so had to use a bigger pot, small potatoes kinda stuff though. Will be staying again and alreadu recommended to friends and family. Also I went out and found the same massage chair and bought my own!

Not worth it! Look elsewhere

This property has many items that need to be addressed. We have been told that it won't be able to be rented again until they are resolved but who is to say they will follow through. Reviews that were added to this site after I had already book lead me to believe they will not. The TL;DR is that if it hadn't been a Holiday weekend where we had other plans centered around this area and had driven 3.5 hours to get there....we would have turned around and stayed at home! This house is in need of major TLC and is a safety hazard. The deck supports are rusted, one post is supported by two rocks. The upper deck is spongy/rotten. We did NOT get to utilize them. The gas fireplace was not functional, heat to the lower level of the house was non-existent which makes that room unusable. The carpets are grotesquely stained and dirty as well as the furniture on the main level. The dishwasher was melted inside and couldn't even pull the lower rack out properly. A screw fell out of the support securing it to the cabinet. There are many other complaints that were already shared with Oregon Beach Rentals and I truly hope they repair them and hold up their end. They did refund the cleaning fee (how many times have they done that and not actually cleaned it??) and have offered up two free nights but I'm not sure that covers the loss.

Staying with people you love makes all the difference.

The view was spectacular from the deck. Our stay was good with a few issues. First and foremost some one needs to check the smoke detector and make sure it works!!!! Someone needs to give the rental some love. Some examples: 5 of the 6 lightbulbs in the living area were burned out, we could not get any regular TV stations on the TV, the heat makes a lot of noise every time it kicks on, and a lot of junk in the kitchen but not what you needed. For example, there were 6 wine openers but no wine glasses. The owners just need to visit and stay for a week and think about what renters need and want-or not rent the house.

The views were amazing

The views were amazing. The house was very dirty much of the items in the house did not work the dryer did not work , one of the showers upstairs did not work, the carpet was very filthy dirty, the downstairs bedroom smelled of cat urine. And when we arrived garbage was scattered all over the the yard… I will not rent again.

Best view in town

Very private location sitting on top of Hawk Creek. There is no better view. Now...the condition of the interior of the house was as advertised but, the steps up to the deck and the deck itself needs immediate attention.

Great views

The house is big and comfortably fit all of us in our group. The views are amazing. There is a lot of things that don’t work like our shower heads, TV’s, and fireplace. Don’t expect much when renting ther than space and views. We were without power for almost a whole day. When I called the property manager I got great service and they called me back immediately to give me an update on the situation.

No one came to clean the place

We got here late on last Sunday night....all the beds looked like someone just left.They still had dirty sheets on all beds so we had to do laundry.A note left saying someone cleaned it Oct 26th but there was wet towels in washing machine like someone just cleaned them.Rented because your covid 19 cleanliness on website but had to clean the whole place anyways.We’ve rented twice here before and it was great but this time was just dirty.And the fact that someone left a note saying they cleaned last month was a lie.And made me even more annoyed.

It’s all about the view

This house sits on top of the hill with an amazing view of the coastline. A deck surrounds the main floor and there is a small balcony off the upstairs bedroom. The layout of the house is great: it has a master suite upstairs with an entertainment/sitting area. The main floor has a great room and small kitchen. The basement bedroom has twin beds. Each level has its own bath.The furnishings are old and somewhat shabby but you don’t notice that because the interior is finished all in wood. The kitchen is not well appointed and if you plan any gourmet cooking, you would be well advised to bring your own tools. The outdoor barbecue grill is small and the grill itself was rusted so we did not use it. The house sits at the top of the hill with woods around and makes for an intimate feel. It is difficult to walk because of the steepness so we had to drive to the beach usually. We had a few issues while staying, but the property management company was very responsive to our needs. Just realize that what you are paying for is the view and the location, not the house itself.

Wave Haven Retreat

We enjoyed our stay and loved the view. The Wi-Fi connection was great and the three levels were perfect for our group of four. The location was a perfect distance from Pacific City and Lincoln City. We were grateful for our lodging and a place we could bring our dogs.

Private beauty

House was in a beautiful private location that we adored!! Only 2 close-ish neighbors which gives the feeling of seclusion with a breathtaking view on both upper floors. Main downfall was that after staying up playimg board games til 3am, a maintenance man showed up unannounced and started mowing the yard at 9am. The respectful thing to do would have to been to notify renters since he woke everyone up and none of us were happy about it. Ive stayed in dozens of rentals, this was the first time they came without notice.....at 9am! Beds were comfortable, space was more than adequate, tvs great, bathrooms on all 3 levels is a huge plus! Appliances on the low end, bring your own if you're picky or a chef. Towels adequate...could have used more for a week long stay. Note to owner: there is a kitchen chair with a busted leg. 2 deck chairs were broken. Tub upstairs leaked through ceiling onto kitchen floor 1 of the 3 times we used it.....not sure what went wrong. We tried to call but after 30 minutes on hold, gave up and I will try again later today. Overall, we would stay again. Highly recommend if you are like us....burnt out from workimg among people amd looking for a secluded breathtaling view getaway!!
