Suveren beliggenhet midt på 7-mile Beach. Veldig bra valuta for pengene. Personalet var også hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Fantastisk strand og solnedgang. Ikke noe super-fancy hotell, men bra turiststandard. + for at det også er et av få Jamaicansk-eide hotell med den beliggenheten.

Hotell med meget dårlig standard
Kjempe fint strandområde! Beliggende på Seven Mile Beach. Flott hage. Rom og hotell standard var veldig dårlig. Rommet var gammelt og ødelagte dører, sengen var grusom. Air condition sluttet å virke. Rett og slett 1 stjernes standard på rom. Service i restauranten var meget dårlig. Og vi fikk slengt kommentarer som " No come back for dinner" av en sur kelner kl 20.30 bare vi passerte forbi restauranten og hadde ikke planer om å spise der ( restauranten er åpen til kl 21) ellers ingen bra service. Kun han mannen som hjalp til med koffertene var hyggelig og blid, og de i resepsjonen. Aldri mer tilbake til dette stedet! WIFI var elendig! Vi valgte å tilbringe de siste dagene på stranden til Coco Lapalm som behandlet oss som vi var dems gjester selvom vi bodde på Charela Inn.

This was our second time in a row staying at Charela. We love the beach it is probably the nicest beach on seven mile. The rooms are clean and well appointed. What we dislike about Charela is the lack of friendliness from the staff, especially the female staff. The cleaning ladies are very friendly as is the doorman. The serving staff however is not. The women do not smile, the front desk ladies aren't overly friendly, restaurant service is poor, with the exception of one older lady, not sure of her name, she was awesome. Restaurant prices are far too high for what you get but there are other options near by. The beach is well kept and the beach security is on point! I would stay again, I'm just more prepared for what to expect from the serving staff.

These issues will be looked into and addressed so they do not reoccur.Despite these disappointments it is good knowing you found other staff members who were pleasant which includes the elder lady in the dining room (Francella) and beach security and will return to the property in the future.Wishing you all the best and looking forward to your future visits.

Good - Best beach in Negril. Natural shade with lots of palms. Wide with plenty of room for seating. Service was good. Bad - My main complaint is that they need a restroom closer to the beach. Maybe near the restaurant. Currently, you have to come off the beach, walk past/through restaurant, cross the courtyard. That's too far.

Great value and location. It is a small hotel and restaurant. on the beach. The staff are the best except for a few of the younger restaurant waitresses who spend too much time looking at their phones. Front disk staff great and very helpful. Our room housekeeper was wonderful. If we need to change while she was there never a problem. The guys at the beach were always helpful and anticipated your needs. Our room needed a shower update, several times the water flowed over the floor. it was a bad design. We needed more lights in the room there were two bedside and one in hall. We had a great ten day stay I would strongly recommend it.

The Charela Inn is a great option two thirds the way up Seven Mile beach. Its location makes it fairly quite. If you are looking to party at night try somewhere closer to to the Negril township end of the beach.

The room is very clean. The housekeeper does a great job. The room is nice. However the prices at the restaurant are expensive and the customer service can be better. People are not that friendly & customer oriented in comparison to the other hotels.

Charela Inn is such a gem. Glad I finally hot to stay here. The ocean front room was very spacious with beautiful furnishings. The staff eas very friendly with smiles for days. Location is great and the property offers free parking. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The property is quiet and cozy. However, it is a bit outdated. The bathrooms could use a facelift. It is not as modern as nearby lodging. However, Charela offers the essentials for a quick get away.

Property was great. The waitresses were friendly and attentive. House keeping was the best they clean my room on time and each time I go back to my room it feels like a new room. The life guard tyreek was very helpful great guy. Only person we dislike was the security on the beach . He doesn’t know how to talk to the guest plus he’s lazy with an attitude.

Such a cozy accommodation nestled in a safe, very friendly, accessible area. There are many options for dining along the neighboring properties. I received the best massage ever from the therapist on site at Charles’s beach front. I had no worries my entire trip. I have to rave about their immaculate, crispy white towels and sheets and very cleans rooms, an amazing diverse garden, and delicious meals particularly the Jamaican breakfast. Charela puts the LOVE in One Love!

First of all. The location is the best in Negril. Second. The service is five star. Friendly and attentive. The on site restaurant and room service is great. Last but not least. The rooms are amazing. We stayed in an ocean view room. It was huge with an amazing balcony. Also quiet! We stayed during Dream week and as soon as we closed the door it was as quiet as you could ever wish. We loved our stay.

We go spend time here at least once a year & our other family members go 2-3 times a year . Everyone treats us so well , we kinda are like family when we are there . A lot of locals come to stay here as well bc not only is it the best beach spot for relaxing & floating the day away the food is awesome . It’s not a 5 star looking hotel but it’s 5 star to us bc of the staff . From front desk to house keeping to ground keepers to kitchen . We love Charela .

This is by far the best option for proximity to the beach in Negril without the all inclusive ticket. It's a small Jamaican owned hotel with friendly staff and great food. We stayed in a Junior suite on the lower level that was about 20 steps away from the beach! You can see the famous 7 mile beach right from your bedroom and from the patio right out your room. They have shaded lounging on the beach which makes it convenient to sit out all day if needed. The staff will also serve you food right there if you don't want to leave the beach! There is also a pool if you want to switch it up. 10/10 experience for the traveler who isn't looking for a cookie cutter vacation experience. We didn't opt for the breakfast plan option, we paid each day for the meals. They have a wide range of meals from their a la carte menu and each night they may have a price fixed menu p/person as well. Just go. You will love it.

This was our 6th visit to Charela and each time has been great. Besides the perfect beach and being centrally located, the staff really make you feel at home and as family. Everyone from the owner on down always greets you with a hello and is there anything you need. Also, Charela must be doing something right because several of the staff have been there over 20 years.

The staff was pleasant and helpful, rooms clean and surrounding areas clean plus the beach was well kept. The owner/manager is always onsite and that helps keep employees performing at their best. The in room mini fridge is a big help as I could keep an abundant supply of water and coconut water cold.

Wonderful property, Mr Geisel family a staff all are very good and thoughtful hosts . From the European atmosphere to the food , food options , hours , friendly staff, clean rooms I couldn’t ask for more I stayed in the old part with garden view worked for my.budget
