Perfect but yard guy's not so good.

Loved our stay this is our 2nd stay!! Every thing awesome! Only thing as that we wished the yard guy's could've done a better job. Trimming around the shrubs, pool and under the hammock. Everything else was perfect. We will stay again!!

Excellent option in Navarre

This is an excellent property to stay at with family. We enjoyed a lot our stay in this property. My family also loved the house and the pool! Comfortable beds, sofa bed, and excellent AC to keep the temp inside the house nice and cool! TV cable and internet worked excellent as well. I definitely recommend this place 100%!

Convenient location & clean

Extremely easy access to Navarre Beach. Everyone mentioned how clean it felt. Sizable pool with plenty of floats for the kids.Pool heater this time of year (late March) was a must. Still cool, but would've been unusable without.Really need to get the primary bedroom shower fixed. Couldn't figure out the right combo of twists and turns to control the temp.

Easily accessible area and home. We enjoyed the relaxing back porch, pool and the well stocked kitchen for cooking. The Navarre area is a very beautiful and relaxing location.

Coastal Retreat

Nice house and pool with fenced in back yard. The master bedroom shower faucet needs to be replaced. Pool liner has major rips in in and should be replaced. Checkout instructions ask you to wash and dry towels...and didn't leave any detergent.....should I fold and put up the towels also???

Great space and location, but….

Overall, the property is very nice! The layout/space was great allowing for plenty of space for alone time and together time! The outdoor patio and pool area were excellent! The kitchen and bathrooms are well equipped. And it is kept clean. That said, the property could use labels for the light switches as there are ALOT and they didn’t always make sense as far as where they are located and what they control. Also, the light bulbs should be replaced with brighter, all rooms were very dimly lit. Finally, the master bathroom shower was almost inoperable! The knob to turn on the water and control temperature is broken and needs to replaced, as does the shower head. The water literally drips out of it no matter what setting is used. I have been to primitive camp sites with better showers. I ended up having to wash my hair in the kitchen sink!

Very clean and conveniently located!

The house worked out great for us. It was my husband and I and our two dogs so the fenced in yard was fantastic. Home was very clean and pictures were accurate. Home was very well stocked for anything needed. The backyard needed a little attention. The landscape was a little bit overgrown and the pool didn’t seem to be cycling the way it should but the pool company came Is there anything else really? when we were there and said the owners were working on it-

Disappointing

We will not return. House was OK - pool was cold - didn't like dealing with owners. When we booked, the original listing stated “PRIVATE POOL (HEATED)”. 5 months later I checked the listing – text had been changed to “HEATED POOL- $75 PER DAY”. $75 per day is an excessive unexpected cost per day for a 21 day stay. When we contacted the owner about the issue they said... "Sorry for any confusion but there is a $75 per day charge to cover our electricity costs. We understand if you wish to cancel. We will provide you a full refund." Cancel? Five months later with fewer rentals available? We book EARLY for a reason. They did not honor our original agreement or even offer to negotiate with us. How are owners (and VRBO) allowed to change rental terms on the fly AFTER renters are already booked? Does the info on listings means nothing?

Nice and disappointing

The house was nice and having the pool was nice. The outside (yard area was overgrown with lots of weeds.). We enjoyed most of our time in the screened in porch. Lots of seating. Our disappointment came when I had to call the management company about 45 days out from our trip. My husband had just been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and treatments were being set up. I was not asking for a refund ( I did not take the insurance because it would have costs an additional $500 for an already expensive property rental). I asked what options we had and if it were possible to move our trip to a later date. The management company politely refused to work with us. I know there are rules but sometimes when it comes to certain things, rules could be adjusted. I was very disappointed with their lack of effort to work with us. As I hung up I felt it was all about the money to them. Plus check in is 4:00 and my son arrived at 4:30 and cleaning people still there. He and his family had to wait to get in. Interior of the house was nice….management company was a disappointment

Cute little house

The house was true to the photos. The owners have stocked the linens and kitchen better than most rentals I’ve stayed in. It was clean upon arrival, however the pool was not. It did not get a thorough cleaning throughout our stay. We asked for the location of the vacuum to clean it ourselves and did not receive it. Pools need vacuuming, not just skimmed. We didn’t use it much which is a shame as it is why I rented the house. We also had some issues with the lighting in the kitchen. That was fixed, the next day. I will say that they are not very communicative. We had people coming and going nearly every day with no notice. This made us a bit uncomfortable as we never knew when we’d be interrupted. We also would’ve like a heads up as our belongings were there and the thought of people coming and going at will made us wonder if everything was safe there. I doubt we will rent it again, but that’s mostly because of the communication issue, not the house itself.

Everything was clean and sanitized. The property was well-equipped for our family. Nicely decorated with a modern flare. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We especially enjoyed the back porch. The pool was okay, not sure if it was filtering properly. Debris stayed on the bottom. Overall we enjoyed our stay as it was a short drive to the beach.

Spacious house

We had a wonderful stay! Both the home and pool were even larger than what we anticipated from pictures. The home was very clean, updated, and had everything we needed. Located on a great quiet street, but close proximity to everything Navarre has to offer. Thank you!

Great rental

We traveled to visit family stationed in the area and the location was super convenient. The home was well appointed, very comfortable, with a great fenced backyard for the dogs. Had it not been December, I'm sure we would've gotten better use out of the pool and large, screened back porch. Communication with our host was seemless and easy. Highly recommend this property.

Nice stay

House was spacious and clean and pool was nice. Amenities that were listed were incorrect. No Keurig and I brought K-cups, so had to run to WalMart and get coffee first thing. No hairdryer and it was listed. Washed hair and no way to dry it. Had to run to Walmart and buy a hairdryer that I did not need. It is a longer drive to the beach than I thought. Neighbor next door worked on a truck several of the days that we were there and constantly revved the engine even at night. I know that was not the property owners' fault but something for someone to think about.

Great place to stay.

Property was just as listed. The WIFI was out due to storm the night before that fried the Router. Due to Labor Day weekend could not get a replacement. Management offered to bring games and then brought fans for the garage so we could use the ping pong table with air flow. My only concern was the area rugs in living room and master bedroom. They slid around quite a bit and could cause someone to trip. Overall, nice place to stay.

The house is as described, very clean and convenient with excellent response from manager

The house is great and very convenient. We had a couple of issues that were dealt with immediately. The property manager is very responsive and took care of everything. The one thing that I can say remotely negative is that there are only three chairs at the pool which aren’t enough for a house that sleeps six or more. The other thing that we found difficult was all towels need to be washed and dried before leaving which makes showering on morning of checkout nearly impossible.(could be corrected easily with extra towels for housekeeping to switch out) would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful house! A few maintenance issues.

This house was exactly what we were hoping for. It was easily accessible for my disabled parents - no steps, walk-in shower, and pool was easy to get in and out of. Plenty of space for our kids to play. The porch was shady and comfortable in all weather. We played board games and ate all of our meals out there. All of the furniture was sturdy, comfortable, and large enough for a family of 6. The decor was tasteful and everything was very clean. The location is great - short drives to grocery stores, restaurants, playground/splash pad, and the beach. We went to the handicap ramp at beach access 40-D, which is a 9-min drive. While we LOVED the house, there were some frustrating quirks that put a few wrinkles in our trip. The water pressure is very low and we could only run one shower at a time. If someone flushes the toilet while you are in the shower the water disappears to a trickle for awhile. So we basically had one bathroom for six people. In addition, the knob for the master shower doesn't work properly. It is very tricky to find the one random spot to turn the water on to (sort of) full blast and the water takes a very long time to heat up, so it's hard to tell when you've found it. And then it's hard to turn off. My husband was the only one who could consistently do it, so he had to turn the shower on/off for everyone! The dryer only works on highest heat, set to the heaviest setting, with a small load. We washed two large loads on the last day of our trip and found cold, wet clothes at the end of multiple dryer cycles. We had to split our laundry into six small loads and get up in the night to finish. Less important was that the ice maker wasn't working. There were two bags of ice in the freezer, which was plenty for us. The water filter in the fridge also needs replacing. We weren't told that the pool guy was coming and we would need to get out for awhile. Normally it wouldn't have been a problem, but we had terrible weather for most of our trip and it was the last chance our family had to swim together before more storms. We asked him to come back another day, which we felt bad about, and he kindly did. I appreciate a host who texts to check in with us after we've arrived and after we've left. We didn't contact them about our problems because most couldn't be quickly addressed during our trip. If I'd heard from them I would have told them about these issues privately. I hope they are fixed because we would love to come back!
