«The rooms are clean enough, clearly well-maintained and some are new. Beds were clean and fresh, as was bedding. The problem here wasn't labor or care. The bedding and bed were both poor quality. When other reviews say the walls were thin, listen. You could hear the televisions of other guests on different floors. It was nearly impossible to sleep. If a hotel has one job above every other job, it's giving you a place to sleep. This one failed there.»

«Some frustrations include not being placed in the room I paid for. They tried telling me they gave it to someone else. It cause some delays, but eventually we were “upgraded” to a room with the same accommodations that I paid for. My reservation also came with complimentary breakfast, but charged me $32, and it ended up being stale muffins and coffee. Overall, fine for one night, but it’s not on my list to go to again.»

«Everything was just OK. Not really any better or worse than I expected. The real problem was the heat would not shut off. Even when you put it in the cool position, heat blared out of the vent. There was also an AC unit in the outside wall. We shut the heat, totally off and cranked the AC, but there was no cool air coming from it at all. I will see that I don’t generally have complaints and we have stayed here several times before, but this particular time was not comfortable.»

«Very dirty room Smelled horrible Stains on the carpet, towels and sheets Furniture looked like it was picked up at the landfill, falling apart and ripped material Out of 5 windows, 2 didn't open at all, painted shut. And the other 3 opened but there were holes in the screen. And 1 window wouldn't even stay open. Bare walls No extra blanket, usually you would find an extra one in the closet. 1 very small garbage. Small fridge that also smelled bad. Property needed attention badly. Trash and ...

«Clean room»

«Not what it used to be a few years ago when we had a great long weekend. The guest they allow here trash the outside and is not being maintained. They shouldn’t be pet friendly. The outside stank of dog poop which you could see! And the 1st flr hallway smelled of wet dog mixed with cigarets. Also, someone left their dog by itself in the hallway one night. From the inside of the room you can hear EVERYTHING! Same thing from outside the room. This is what ruined our stay.»

«Unique : frige and microwave in the bathroom!! That’s a new one for us !! Room was decent . Location questionable. But all in all it was a getter experience than expected!! The price was cheap and cheap you got !!»

«I was pleasantly surprised at the authenticity of the building and decor of the 18th century era. The owner puts great effort into making it an enjoyable experience. As a history fan this place surpassed my expectations. The breakfast was wonderful too!»

«The place was just dirty, hallways never vacuumed. Rooms if you looked close enough not to clean. The same dirt and pennies were literally in the hallway for my whole stay. Room key kept failing so needed to be reset constantly. Very small tv and reception was not good a lot of times. Probably won't be back it needs a complete overhaul corporate should visit they would be appalled »
